Not much done today, hit a couple roadblocks. They sent me the wrong muffler, but i can modify this one. Need to remove the stock fuel regulator, and make a water pump mount. After that, its hooking up gauges and the fuel box. How's Mikey's progress? Tim, you are ready, right?
If this doesn't make it snow, what will?

been having those too dougy(roadblocks) ,stuff is at the powdercoaters..should be back at the end of the week..otherwise its just a time thing to do it..
I hate roadblocks.....but being a mechanic im used to them. Hope things work out for you guys in a timely manner
Haven't had much time to work on the Dragon, but I'm close. I put the turbo and muffler on for a test fit, can't wait to ride this thing.

Got my Cdi box back from Curt and it will not run on it!!! Hits the det sensor almost as soon as I smack the throttle. But a stock one back in it, and the thing runs great. That may have been most of my propblem with that sled last spring..... we will see Later tonight or tommorrow. Looks like I am out for this weekend as well. Headed to work for now for another fun day of playing Santa!

Looks like I spent all last spring chasing a bad cdi box. Took till now to get that one figured out in my thick skull. Sure runs sweet with the box I found found laying in the back yard. akstorm will never miss it. We'll see if he ever leaves his toys sitting at my house again lol.

Well, I think my sled is finally ready to hit the steep and deep. May have a little fine tuning to do, but it should be solid, just me being nit picky now. I wish I would have done a drop and roll while I had it all torn down. I can see that coming in the future.... Come on Mike and Dougie, get your buggies done and lets ride

So you weekend warriors are gonna be ready for next weekend? This sould be real interesting...
I took a ride from the house up to bauldy yesterday...it was ok in spots wind blown. Needs another 2 feet to be real nice. Friend of mine on his 09 700 smacked a rock funky and bent the bar the limiter straps attach to. Shifted the rails over where one was rubbing the driver. Fixed it by tying a rope to it and using my sled to jerk it back into place. Worked like a charm....I was amazed he didnt bend his rails. The tips were just slightly pulled togeather by the bent bar up front.
My sled ran good, got the flow rites "finally" and that made the difference in this fine powder weve been getting!
Tim - The jetting is great up at 2500ft. I could go a touch fatter but it was 20 yesterday so it would be perfect in a little colder temps.
