I stuck my track with the rails today so Im back in the shop with you guys! Snow was awesome though. M7162 you rode right by me wrenching on my sled. Are you too cool for me now that I ride a Yamaha?

Well, she is finally back together again I would love to go hit up all the deep powder at Lost Lake tommorrow, but the old guy says I should stick around home and break that poor thing in right, rather than pinned all day. That, and I will probably have some jetting to do since there were a a few changes along the way. As much as the kid in me wants to go play tommorrow, looks like a break-in day and tuning. Look out next weekend Besides, AKSNOWRIDERS is still down and so is Dougie so we should get some more fresh stuff this week! Hope everyone had a ball in all the fresh this past week and have a safe weekend.

Proper break in only takes as long as loading a sled on the trailer, once it is unloaded ride it like you stole it. WFO all day at Lost Lake the best way to treat that new engine.

I hear you mtnsld. I don't baby a break-in, BUT, with who I would be riding with, It would be to the bar ALL day. That is a bit much. It is more the jetting that he bagging it though.. I hate to deal with that on the hill on a killer day. I don't want to hold others up either. I HATE to open my hood when out riding in the backcountry. I usually never have to.... Mike, shut up!

Oh Yea. That is when I grenaded that poor thing. Still bone stock other than the pipes. Alittle over 4000 miles on the stock crank on that 800ves and she let go. That was UGLY Broke crank,cases,1 piston and the skirts off of 1 cylinder and got the head too. That was on yet another glorious powder day with blue skies at Lost Lake. I hate being on the wrong end of the rope. That does not happen often. Last year was terrible.
well since tims sled is running..and doug is running around like a chicken with his head cutoff...I figured I would post up a few pics of how mines coming...modded the tunnel, did fastraxs drop and roll,camo x 2.5 track, I have to finish the tunnel stuff, build the rear bumper, send a bunch of stuff out to mark to get some color on it , change rails, reinstall my frt floats and holz a-arms and the 10 swaybar setup, the trailtank and wrap up some loose ends..am thinking the tunnel stiffeners in red, the new rails in red(or black), tunnel polished and spindles black
