Idea for added cooling on the Pro.

I think what most are missing here is that if the slides aren't lubed by snow/spray you will go through more slides than gas:face-icon-small-win. except for slow speeds( where a front or additional cooler would benefit ),scratchers off the rail WITH ski type scratchers are your best solution period. imo a well designed ski scratcher will work better than the rail mount scratcher due to the fact 90% of the spray only hits the rear of the skid causing the slides to wear quickly in the front of the skid.

There are two things that need lubed for a couple of different reasons.

sliders and coolers

coolant temps: I have put big zip-loc bags on my double pass cooler on the VE tunnel that I had on my GenII...it worked REALLY well. Just held it on with a bunje.

I ALSO use scratchers to drop my coolant temps. Sometimes scratchers just aren't enough to keep the coolant temps down..

slide rails: Obviously a bag of slush strapped to the tunnel wont' take care of that, LOL.

Im going to put the solid flap on both of mine this year and add two 4 inch pieces of aluminum square tube notched to fit over the cooler tube perpendicular and hope these collect and hold some additional snow. It will be awhile before I get this done and longer before I get a chance to test but will post my findings

Cooling issues

This is my second Pro 2011 assault had big problems while trail riding so I put a long tail flap on along with cable scratchers duraflex type, have 013 Pro now with 2200 miles on it and duraflex scratchers and camo extreme 2.5 original slides and 1500 miles were on groomed trails in Upper Mi. No heating issues with cable scratchers down.
