I have to admit the T3....

3 track

Problem is that after you put a 3 incher on your pro it will still get whooped by a T-3 in climbing, sidehilling, and tree riding . My brother ha a T3-174 and the sled is an animal the the Trygstad 872 is rocking the turboed pro's. Yes the sled is that good. Just trying to see how fast I jump ship :)

Oh please!

Its that good. :) lol

The 3 incher on the pro is the real deal. You will have no problem climbing and riding with a 163 T3. The only issue I have is my sled tends to warm up a little quick when I have to ride slow on iced out trails, iced out goat trails in the trees, or when riding with my 8 year old daughter who is going slow.

Other than that, there are many days my sled never goes over the 125'F mark.

Also, Roosterbuilt has an excellent clutching set-up for the X3 track that will rock with stock belt drive/gearing.

I have a 155 pro and bought my wife a T3 174. I would rather have a shorter sled that will go just as far. I never thought I would say it but her sled is awesome. It makes my 155 look like a tinker toy. It fixes my biggest gripes with xm's. It doesn't stuff the front end when turning and it doesn't wash out due its fat body and running boards. It just grabs traction and goes. The 154 would wash and you felt really close to a yard sale on really steep stuff. I don't believe that just adding a 174 3 inch to a pro is going to make it as fun. Imo you will make a longer heavier handling sled. Doo did something different. The center of gravity is raised or something because it feels really nimble for its size. It feels like half the effort to ride compared to my pro. The only gripes I have with my pro are, I wish it steered as easy as an xm and the hand warmers suck. I might have to cork them. This sled is the bomb for my wife. There is serious pilot error in order to get this sled stuck.

thats ALOT of track ! it better climb like a billy goat and creep through the trees ! and the Etec engine is a strong runner fo sure

the only thing i'm suprised by is folks saying its nimble ?
have you riden it on setup snow or spring type hard snow ?
is it still easy to toss around in those conditions ?
(serious questions )

let it snow

Interesting thoughts. My buddies is just a lil 163" and I dont thinking adding a 3" to a pro would make it a big heavy sled. I did own a 155" pro my first year and you are right, it's a bit of a wild pony but the 163" Pro is WAY better. Iican imagine a 174" is even better. I'd really love to hear any real world experience to compare a 163"x3" poo to a 163"x3" doo.

I rode a t3 163 in some deep snow and have to say it stomps my pro 163. The traction and power on the t3 are amazing. Made my pro feel gutless and slow. Would consider one for 2016.

I have. I am 190 lbs and every time we ride my whole group says that it looks like i am barely trying and can throw the sled easy as pie. After 4 days of riding straight i was not the least bit sore. Can side hill it one handed on set up snow for as long as i please.

T3

We own and ride both Polaris 3", Polaris turbos, 174" 872, 163 3" Doo. Polaris die yards that have there heads stuck in the sand that think a 3" 163 will keep up with a T3 163 obviously haven't ridden one. I've rode the T3 in all conditions and it rolls to an edge with no effort. It's a great sled! I owned Polaris because it was the best, now I own a T3 and it will do everything the pro can do but better and easier. It performs great in all conditions. It's true u can ride a hard day of riding and come back and b ready for more while everyone else is spent.
Ride one before u pass judgement

good to here i've ridden a 13 xm and a 14 xm both 154s
and i would not trade my old PRO no way no how
the Camo ex is a way better setup snow track for sure

it sounds like the 15 T3s are a step up from the past XMs

Real world experience. 2 1/2 to 3 feet powder. My 2012 pro, 163 x 3" with Avid D&R. MTNTK turbo running about 5 - 6 lbs boost. 2 - 174 t3's and 1 - 163 T3. All of them stock and still on the break in. Climbing on a more open face, I have more speed than all of them. The 163 T3 cant get to my marks, but the 174 gets there, but has to tractor to get there. In the trees, I cant shake them. I need to keep higher speed to stay in front, but they still get there. They are really manuverable, for such a long machine. Polaris has alot of catching up to doo. IMHO.

AND they have a 4 year warranty!

I used to think stock sucks, but they are a home run for sure!

I'm glad to see people giving them great reviews. pushes the bar even higher

I personally will never own one. Its just too impractical for where I ride every day. You can ride where I ride on a 121". Not as fun, but possible. 140-high 150 track will sadly be my range as long as I live where I do

Maybe someday on a trip out west I'll get to try one, but for home its just a tractor pulling a tiller our flat lands hard pack

So those who have rode both the 174 and 163, which one is better for tree riding? I am sure the 163 is more playful, but does it still trench like a ditch witch like the older xms? Just wondering seeing we have no snow here to compare sleds to...

I have a 14 163 pro. My dad has the doo t3 174. I was so impressed with his do I considered selling my pro......but instead I ordered a 174 x3" camo extreme track and a Kurt's gear down kit. I'll keep ya posted how she hangs in a few weeks once its all together!
