WTH it is missing half the hide?
It's different than in the midwest..you have to PACK your animal out. You don't very often drive up to it and load it in the truck.
and additionally...to get said animal out of the mountains you have actually cut it up into little pieces. That's when you find out that meat at the grocery has to go through the same process.

No offense to you but alot of western folks think us midwesterns have no idea what goes into hunting.....they'd be surprised what us flatland hicks know. Thanks for the info though! Never been one to be interested in mounts so I had no idea what it looked like as far as capping.
PS-I may live in a town now, but trust me when I say I can make "country" folks look pretty damn citified.
And Scott, I've never driven right up to the dead deer, always had to drag it across the swamp first.

no sheep yet ok stone sheep bc just got back,this is my buddies ram with me holding it.real nice ram 8years old 37inch,not a monster but a very good ram in this day & age.i passed on 4 other legal rams after taking a 40 inch ram last year was looking for something bigger.

Shot this bull the second day of archery season this year. 7x8 and the taxidermist and my old man scored it at 377 green. I haven't scored it because I had to run back to work the next day and haven't seen it since. I think they were accurate, hell if I know. Great day hunting and great result. The new Matthews Helim is the smoothest compound I've ever shot!

No. They really don't know anything about sledding. And hunting is sobering up enough to climb into the treestand, sit over a pile 'o' corn and get wasted again.
