Saturday was a good day, we crackered off a few but I think we ended up 5 in the box and 3 in the 12-13 lbs range

I got the boat with riggers--manual but work great--plus get your arms in shape for sledding---takes years to make them look like my rods, just dont ever smell them and wash your hands when done

fished the skagit on mon and tue with my dad.
We hands on released over 120 fish and had easily another 100 that came unbuttoned after grabbing the leader getting ready to release.
It sure is fun on a 5 wt fly rod

And I know they are some hard pulling acrobatic fights to be hadIf you want to put a hurting on the humps just for giggles, find bank access to the lower Sky. Find the schools and then cast away(dicknite on long leader or pink elastic hootchie on a jig hook)...they are ALASKA thick up there but of course you will have to go thru a lot of fish up there to get any good shape ones.
NICE FISH...Yep I crackered of a couple of those being STUPID but having fun.....but I got one of those fillet going on the BBQ when I get home

we hooked into to coho on chartruese and silver, green and silver even black dick nites.. all of em worked at times.. we weened thru almost 100 humpies to keep our 2 Coho.. crackered off about 10 coho between my pals and i..

WDFW just opened the Wenatchee, Icicle, Entiat, Methow, and Okanogan for catch and release wild steelhead and retain 4 hatchery steelhead a day!!! Also the Icicle you can keep 3 coho!
