Although I don’t disagree with everything you wrote ( especially the part about firing Jeff Sessions), I’m curious how someone who hates the government being involved in their daily life thinks it’s up to them to decide what 2 dudes do in the privacy of their own bedroom... you want the government to fu$k off and leave the people alone, then don’t ask them to lock someone up for smoking weed (especially since I’d bet you were half drunk on cheap beer when ya wrote this and very likely drive regularly with a can between yer knees)...

I don't care what two guys do but shut up about it. It is wrong per above explanation. They are short a wire but they are people. Leave it as that.
I actually don't care about weed. I don't want it legalized or want my daughter doing it but I don't care what you do. Pot is like a single, pregnant young girl. Your chances in life are going downhill substantially. I hate smoking period but when they said no smoking in restaurant or bars or public places, it was wrong. Should be up to the owners. I have the right to not go there if I don't like it. They used the second hand smoke thing and medical costs to tax payers. Now we have the pot push and there is no drawbacks? Also everyone I know that does it frequently has zero ambition or drive. Try getting high on life. It's like a good steak. If it's good you don't need all the fu fu stuff on it.
I actually don't drink much anymore. Not as fun as it used to be. In one sense, I would love to have all those days back, when snowmobiling, and not be hung over. In another, I wouldn't give them back. We had a lot of fun.

Comparing the treatment of Marijuana to the age of Prohibition really does make the most sense. With it illegal, its the gangsters & drug dealers who benefit.
To say nothing of the possible medical benifits of canniboids. It's probably easier to do a medical study on the benefits of ricin legally speaking. I have Zero interest in smoking pot for a high, but I'm pretty sure its got some near magical properties when it comes to health, but as long as its a federally banned substance, good luck getting any kind of real scientific study in the US.
Legalize it & tax the crap out of it for recreational use. Or don't regulate it at all & let the free market system do its thing. Wouldn't it be interesting to see what would happen if you could buy cannabis seeds along with your carrots & peas for your garden?
There's NOTHING about drugs, alcohol, and about 4 million other things that are regulated ad-nauseum in the Constitution. Let people make their own decisions about what guns to buy & what to do with plants growing in their back yard.

Two different starting points, when obama took over(recession era) there was only one place for the market to go, up.
Its a different scenario for trump as he was elected during a time of rising gdp growth, rising home prices and unemployment rate half of recession rates. So its not a fair comparison but still impressive with what Trump has done so far.
