I'm not sure where they are made... but I DO know the owner of the company.... He is a fellow sledder and someone who is VERY involved in the sledding community.
As people I know get the glasses I will get pictures.

So then... is it better to buy from an American made company who will donate to sierra club or similar... or to buy from 509 who will help with snowmobiling specifically & is a member of the community?
Pretty simple answer to me.
I've been using my 509 Sunglasses for a few days now and can honestly say I love them! It's amazing how when you go from cheap sunglasses to polarized glasses how much clearer and crisper everything is. Very happy!
So true about polarized lens in general.
I often will point something out to my kids while out on the trail...then remember they are wearing cheap sunglasses. After putting on my polarized glasses...they will pick out exactly what I am talking about. Especially fish in streams...like night and day.

$80 is nothing to my Oakleys, but when I get to go to the story and try their specific asian sunglasses it makes a difference....
Another. Would and could.... just not wanting to pay shipping for each pair to find out none of them work for me.
