HOT NEW PRODUCT - M-Series Air Frame Running Boards

board ?

the problem we all have with the current crop of stock or aftermarket boards is snow sticks to ALUMINUM.

We'll all be riding plastic boards some where down the road, with no sitcking snow or ice buildup.

The ideal of cutting holes, and grates and studs has been pretty well explored, and its better than the 2000 vintage sleds. Now to take the next step we need stout boards made of plastic that snow doesn' stick to. In perfect conditons my aftermarket boards work great on my M, and on those days all boards work. Its the 80% of the riding time that I need no stick boards.

Until you come up with a work able non stick surface its bling bling. No matter how well engineered, carefully welded, anodized etc, it won't improve riding. I appreciate your craftsman ship. Now make them non aluminum no stick.

I strongly disagree with your assesment of these boards based on my first hand experience with them.

If you have not already done so, read this review.

This is what it looks like WHILE RIDING. I consider this to be NO snow build up .

Well how about finding someone who could coat the aluminum with teflon? :face-icon-small-ton:face-icon-small-ton

it is a little spendy 4 boards, but the round tube idea looks pretty good. thats what we need to keep the snow off, far more efficient in theory but i guess we will find out when some people try em, if i wasnt planning on getting a different sled next year i would try em on my 08 but i want an 11 next year.

High demand, limited quantities all winter so I'm giving those who have been waiting the heads up. :face-icon-small-con

I have a genuine need for these right now. I understand alot of people have them on a wish list but it's either a tunnel/bulkhead, this product or a similar one like from CR racing..... I think they have running board replacements....

Makes this product worth the money.... all of a sudden when you consider a bulkhead/tunnel is going to be over $2000.00

If you can hook me up with a set.... PM me.... I can also provide pictures and video plus testimonials of the project along the way.

Amy and I got a Skinz mesh hood from Jan and Larry at Trax 2 Treadz and I've had nothing but great things to say about Skinz products fine fit and finish so far not to mention the outstanding customer support from Trax 2 Treadz!! I would love to try this product and you would be helping me out a bunch!! We will also give Trax a call to see if they have stock.....

Thankyou

I have ridden with these boards on several sleds, and will tell you first hand, they are incredible...Here are some more pics in action... NEVER slipped a foot...NEVER had to stomp snow...

Another MAJOR HUGE benefit for me, I am not a small guy, north 0f 250 with gear etc. and these boards do NOT sag or flex at all, they are HUGE strong!!!!!!!!!!

Question about these, I am very interested.

I have a 07 M1000. I did the BDX tunnel mod. Will I be able to get these things to fit? Also do you have to mess around with the Drop brackets at all when installing on the M. I don't really feel like messing around with those.

I would greatly appreciate if anyone could answer me any of these questions.

The BDX Tunnel Mod will accommodate these boards no problem. As long as the rear tunnel does not have any "wings" in the back you're good.

Trax 2 Treadz in Canada www.trax2treadz.com had one last set and they got them out to me faster than lightening!!! Thanx Larry and Jan!! Here are some pictures of the install if you are interested in how they are installed....

What kind of warranty do these boards have on them? If for some reason they did decide to crack, break or bend. I weigh 225lb and I'm always jumping from board to board (love boondockin' in the trees and dropping in off 20' cornices)...I really like the look and design of them, but I believe you better have a good warranty if I'm going to be cutting my oem boards off. I should probably look at the skinz website, but could you tell me what material the screws are made of? and can I get them Powder coated a different color? :face-icon-small-coo

If I were you I would put some of those screws on the inside rail as well. (unless you did and I just can't see them). Otherwise you will probably slide down the inside rail if you have all your weight on it rather then the middle. You could probably space them out a bit more on the outer rail. IMO... they look a bit like the seating on an air transat plane. LOL! JJ.
