So its really not the trailer's fault.wait you're considering buying another trailer from people who think clamping down one outside edge was enough? hmmm... I might be going after their insurance company! wow
Careful with that 'glove box', I would expect it to rip them straps off like a band-aide if ya corner hard with that sum-bitch loaded up, good lord!
I will find out on Tuesday. My insurance co always writes a fair check in short time.
Always on declared value, not on book value.
I keep my InReach on me for true emergencies.^I wouldn't want to lose my phone in a nasty sled wreck, My suit has a cell size interior breast pocket which is handy enough (not quite your quick draw) and heated by me and also safer imo, keeping all communication devices on you.... anyway, just throwing that out there, good luck with the sled.
So its really not the trailer's fault.
Fact of the matter is, the sled WAS still bolted to the trailer.
The trailer HAS a tie down point in the mid-front.Going to strongly disagree with that there. That trailer has some flimsy sheet metal connected to a rusty u-bolt and only on the outside ski spindal.
Its the trailer clamps fault they suck lol.
I already posted this earlier, but my buddy bought an old sled deck that has some weird similar type of tie down only on the outside ski. He removed that junk and got superclamps.
Ah ok, sorry. The trailer HAS a tie down point in the mid-front.
I simply failed to use it.
The trailer HAS a rear tie down bar.
I also failed to use it.
Can't blame the trailer for my negligence.
Had I attached those two straps none of this would have happened.
wait you're considering buying another trailer from people who think clamping down one outside edge was enough? hmmm... I might be going after their insurance company! wow
Wow. I didn't realize trailer manufacturers are responsible for you tying down your load.
100% MY FAULTAh ok, sorry.
Bummer all around.
Ya, I was pretty good about STRAPPING my sleds in the trailer. Also this post makes me want to take my own advice and put superclamps in my enclosed 20' burant trailer. I do strap it down in there by the bumpers, but thats probably not good enough. ( seen pictures of peoples sleds flipping over in a trailer, or smashing the walls or going out the front lol )
I don't strap my sleds down in my logan. They didn't send instructions and i figured i could just sue them if something happenedinside ski would have been adequate there Terry, not the outside, duuurr
^what's a Logan, must be for badass's
we do trailers and decks, never seen anyone strap the back unless we goin cross the state
