look at the running boards...you don't think they had the mountain guys in mind.. Or maybe just mountain guys with balz that like to jump.. They only reason I didn't buy a nitro last yr is they didn't have a model that would make a mountain jump sled.. bigger isn't better.. any monkey can point and shoot... 136-144.. im in.. Guess I'll just turn out sooner and hit the wind-lip...the question is tunnel clearance.. how about a 141 cat track?? te track sppeds would be crazy and it would fly like a dream...

I wait to see this!!!!
the only good thing is fatter boards. Anyone on the mtns. rips the susp. out right away, shocks gone, (look better then last years)and your left with a 08 hopefully their will be something better in march. Also the track is only a 1.25 what do you do with that, put it in swapmeet next day:confused:
I want a 500 lb 150hp ish 3 cylinder monster out the box with a track option of atleast 151!! then you will see a apex turbo in the swapmeet. till then ill have to wait:beer;:beer;:D:D:beer;:beer;

ps what is with the decals on the white and silver. and red loops......hold on i have to blow chunks now

Should be a popular sled, but there are gonna be lot's of 1.25 take off tracks around, LOL. Should have had a 1.75 or 2" imo, even the 136 guys around here don't want the 1.25. Nice running boards and shocks though

flatlanders are all over that sled, cause they all whined the mtx being tippy anyway. It would be fun to take on poker runs. If I hadn't quit drink'in. :D:beer;

I like it, with a 2.25 track it would make a great backcountry jumping sled. I just got done converting my MTX to a 144. Not everyone wants the longest track you can buy.

Crossovers are fine for some, but we need a 150-160 hp motor with a 162" option. Ready for boost of course.

Its gonna be a nice sled for sure. 144x16x2.25 track on there, boost, revalve the shocks, and you will have a killer sled.

that's actually interesting....didn't know that they have gone that way over there...I've seen some RX's going as low as 2500g's...Not here, we don't get them under 10g's....USD... But....that's because of our regitration fee's and the way your currency is going down these days....

Now, I agree EFI is the shiet for Boosting... But..if I can build a proven RX Turbo for 3-4g's less than an Apex....it's kind of hard to defend....that being said...I'm not sure I ever will go back to carbed.... I think I'll see what they have for next year...really like my Nytro, but...if they make a Rider forward high-hp sled...the Nytro will have to go... If I can get a 175 hp sled, with weighing 20-30lbs more than the Nytro, it will be a no-brainer....only question is the price..if you can add boost for cheaper than what you have to pay if you sell your Nytro and get the new whatever-it's-calles sled...it will make the decision alot harder....

At this point in time I am not convinced that EFI is the best way to go for boost. Until someone comes up with a bulletproof fuel controller I think it would serve us well to remember how well a simple carb system worked.
