Just curious if anyone has rebuilt one of these. I was coming down the hill with light pressure and lever went to the bar. When I pump it up, it works. I’m guessing the master cylinder is no good. Having a hard time finding a re-build kit. New master cylinder is $300. Also, any idea how to bleed it. Thanks for any information.

I had the same problem 4 yrs ago. I bought a used master cylinder and lever from a wrecker for $35.

Well, I finally figured it out. I bought this SPI rebuild kit, which says it’s for an Arctic cat, but it fits Polaris too. I bought some little round wire brushes from Harbor freight cleaned out the inside cylinder. Brake cleaned it and glued it with brake fluid.. install the new plunger. Put your finger over the master cylinder brake line hole and pressure, bleed the master cylinder. Hooked up, the brake line instantly had some brake. Let it down at the caliber. It seemed to be a little soft, but after I rode it for two days, it’s perfect. Cost me $23. I don’t know why Polaris doesn’t make a rebuild kit.
