Have you Heard..... 2009 Yamaha's

Look at the front suspension. When compared to the 08's, the A-arms on this suspension sits further back instead of sweeping forward like the 08's. I wonder if this fixes some of the bent subframes and broken shock issues we've been reading about.

At this point in time I am not convinced that EFI is the best way to go for boost. Until someone comes up with a bulletproof fuel controller I think it would serve us well to remember how well a simple carb system worked.

I agree with you Peter. I have seen alot of guys having controller problems as they dial up the higher boost numbers. You carbed turbo guys can keep adding more boost without the worry of the controller not being able to keep up. I'm happy where I'm at though with the Stage 1 SC it's not going to kill the turbo Yamahas but it's still a blast to ride.

Geno should remember since he was in Cooke City when i did my SC test and tune on the '03 RX-1(he is gettting old though:face-icon-small-ton); that it only took 1/2 day to get the jetting where I was happy with the A/F mixtures. Then I just swapped the pullies around for max boost on the little stage 1 SC and haven't messed with the carbs since then.
