THis is pretty lame. He really does add to the tech side of the snowmobile forum, and to the Entertainment side as well. But this Bull Crap, no longer aloud to speak your mind or "poke" fun at peeps is ridiculous.

People need to grow a back bone and not get their panties in a wad over lame crap! Banned over a BOOT CAMP/Snowest analogy.

Sorry for hatchers I just found out about it. Seems that it was his third offense.
It was not a mod that gave him his short vacation.
And no your not getting banned for saying that. It is harder to get banned then you guys think.

Hmm, this is really starting to get old for sure. Some of the best moments I remember on this site involve trash talking and poking fun! It's all in jest for crying out loud!
I read over the Klim thread as well. That thread is what exemplifies this forum. People coming together discussing good and bad products, sharing information, and for some of us, razzing each other.

Christopher, or whomever is doing this, you best take a step back and think some of this over. Snowest got to where it is, because of the way it was. Change it all, and lose it all.

I agree it makes no since to stay and make things worse for the other members that like snowmobiling.
I how ever did not ban him. I did however issue and infraction. For heavy Profanity.
I do not want to see anyone banned at all.

He got banned for pointing out the new direction of this site. His comments had no mention of bad language or disrespect to any one person. His comments pointed out the attitude of Chris and a few admin guys that are preaching political correctness. Well im not that old, 11 mos in a couple weeks so im not sure about the history of this forum or why it has so many members. But my dad talks of a time when bashing and poking fun was widely excepted and the real reason this site is so big. Now they want to take that away and make it a profit pig for vendors and manufactures. Im not a marketing team manager or anything cool like that, but id guess the end is coming and the vendors and manufactures will be the only members left and simply talk to each other.....mission fail!

And the guy who banned my pops is named “Brian”, never seen this guys here, and he seems to only have a couple month old membership…..clueless noobs eh?...great

Oh well, guess its time to go build a real forum with “real” people who get the chance to say as they wish....you know, real product reviews and real world posts and what products do and do not do.....guess that not excepted here

From what I can see he received 3 infractions within a week and that automatically creates a 7 day ban by the system code.

He got 2 infractions for Rude Behavior in the same day and then received one today for a Post Violation (?) and the system automatically banned him. I had no part in it.

The direction of DT has already driven away a great deal of knowledgable "motorheads" THe other forum is essentially controlled/moderated/monitored by Vendors and their Chrunies! You essentially can't post an opinion or any comparison without bringing out the dogs. Starting to think Vendors should be stuck in their own forum. Getting as bad as trying to differentiate between Republicans/Democrats, you don't where the truth starts and ends! Again, we need SNOW and most of this sheat will stop.
On another note, social media vendors/forums/web sites are getting HUGE. This won't be the last Adult snowmobile forum to be created or to be successful.

I have never seen Ray post something worthy of a ban, I on the other hand have some of these idiots need a 4 letter word to get their attention, I was raised on a farm and work in construction I can cuss with the best of em. But seriously WTF is going on here? I think we do a pretty good job of policing each other? But if things keep going the direction they seem to be headed this place will be a ghost town before to long. Half the time all the pokes are buddies having fun. You know this place reminds me of a sled from the old Rupp days. The liquid 440 was it so you'd tweak & tweak and get her running right on the ragged edge then give her one more tweak...BOOM. If you notice, nobody is really adding anything as far as techincal help on this forum anymore.
This time of year this forum should be flying with people. I log on and see the same threads going that were started yesterday. People ask for help and might get 1 or 2 answers.

I know I'm not putting any of my knowledge into it. Most of the guys are gone now, the ones left are tooling the edge to get a point across, and the rest of the forum seems to be made up of punks.

I don't know that rebels will take off either as it isn't anything like the old snowest (seems the guys are more into the chat box than posting), but neither is the new snowest.

This place will be a ghost town when the paysite starts up, I know I wouldn't pay for todays forum, whats going to make it any better than the current?

Genuine love for Ray.. Fun and enthusiastic/passionate snowmobiler. We can all be inflammatory or insensitive at times. Anyone that knows Ray, knows he would do anything to help a complete stranger out, likes pokin fun, we all do. Some need to lighten up and get out and ride. I do agree, limited technical info here these days. That said, DT has too many "know it alls" all fighting for the latest and greatest vendor that they got a deal from though..
