Hatcher Pass (willow/palmer)

hey d_edge were you at placer a couple of weeks ago? I don't remember the day but I saw a bad *** black cat with a turbo roll by on the way out. looked like the one thats your avatar. if so that things sick, sounds awesome!!

Yeah I was down there a couple weeks ago. Definitly one of the best rides of the year so far up in squirrel flats. Still have a few more things to do to the sled but she's rippin pretty good.:D

Another Jen, i cant keep track anymore, lol. :D

Did you happen to ride out with a greem m7 that was busted up. I was riding a apex and a lady riding a dragon stopped and asked me to slow down and stay to the side, just wondering if it was you.

hey Drew. that girls name was Susan. she was back there with her kids and husband. i was there when he broke that sled. Sad stuff. the thing is the kid didnt even care. His words. My Dad will pay for this again. whats 600$. God if your gona just wreck sleds and dont care. DONT RIDE.''

And i Belive it was a M6 153. the Dragon was a 155 with a black windsheild right?

Wow wished my daddy would pay for the **** I just busted on the mod up there yesterday. At least most of us understand the value of a dollar. screw hatchers!

not sure what your askin. But several of us rode over dogsled and played in that back bowl(the superbowl).

If your wanting to know if you can get in and out of the valley then- yes

The super bowl is at the top or head of Purches Creek. If you keep going North and over the next Pass you get to Peters Creek.

I drop off the top of Lane and end up at the top of Peters Creek. Had a hard time finding the right pass to get to the Superbowl. 36 miles from Mother Load up Archangel and back thru Dogsled and return to Mother Load. Went solo what a day to be ALIVE!!!!

Am I hearing things or did KWHL say that 36 crazyfists were up at Hatchers today?

yep -

sweet! one less person to deal with

pv

Lol I hope you ride a rev buddy, if so, you're in a glass house throwing stones..the hit my sled took would have finished the nun and/or bulkhead on most other sleds..

I got a new set of a arms today so I'll be up and running by tonight., hopefully it warms up a little this week.

As with any mod sled it does take some tuning. Mostly just messing with the fuel control box and clutching, once you get that dialed in you don't have to mess with it too much. Haven't had any problems yet, only about 200 miles on boost so far. Those turbo d8's look like they rip though! If I was you I would look into the new OVS setup with the garrett turbo, they seem to have their kits dialed pretty good. I don't know if I could ever ride a non-turbo sled again.:D These things are a blast!

We rode Hatchers again today. Covered alot of ground, good time with great light but the wind ripped through there pretty good. Definetly needs more snow.

Pics from the 28th

These pics are from Hatchers on Monday the 28th. One sled down right out of the parking lot so... we took turns augering in my sled.............I won. On the 30th we went up and met "Prayn4snow" it was a good day, sorry camera died that day.
