I stumbled into this when we where cabin hopping this weekend , Poo must believe it is necessary on some of their models . This has been and is being used on the current 550s' .
Did I miss it or was there a price mentioned somewhere for the paaso racing cap?
Sorry I am not a vendor on here, I am on HCS... I don't want to overstep my bounds.

The vent line you describe, is a return line from the oil pump. This is part of the bleed kit(2203889) that was installed on the 550's that I talked about in an earlier post. If you don't want to source the parts, get the Paaso.
Just a thought on the air bubble. Wondering if it is caused by the routing of the oil supply line and motor heat. I have not had an air bubble in my supply line since the $28 upgrade. Same oil cap.
For comparison, the 550f had the air bubble problem that had many a motor meet its demise. Heat soak of the oil was the cause. Polaris came out with a bleed kit (2203889) to rectify the problem.
Eric,Learnin somthing new every day...Thanks Tony!!
Got any photos of a 550 Pro Chassis oil tank mounted?
.
Tony,
Have you retrofit any of your CFi engines with this bleed kit?
Will this fit onto an oil pump on a CFi engine?
Any drawbacks if it were to be installed?

I had 1 small 1/16” hole drilled in my cap and it leaked every time the sled was upside down (rolling over to get unstuck)
I contemplated using a 1/16" bit too but am glad I followed geo's advice & used the .020" bit instead.
.020 equals about 1/50 of an inch. Way smaller than1/16. How do you go that small? The smallest bit I've found is 1/16.
