You could always run down to Denver and pick up the sled for me and ride it, but if you break it you gotta fix it.

still waiting for my buddy to come out and ride....:boink:
now go make those sleds run so we can wreck them!

Hey Skisucca, I think the rubber part goes on the bottom. Have you been taking riding lessons from Guido?

it never fails...
i look at Guido's post on snowest in the mornin, then it rubs off on me and i wreck my sled all day long, lmfao

just better off to not look:lol:

Hey Sean, i almost have 1000 miles on this season so far....
does that mean my season has been 1000 times better than yours?

:focus:
GET IT TOGETHER SO WE CAN RIDE!

engines in mine, just gotta hook up the wires, add coolant, and throw the tank back on, and a few other things.:face-icon-small-ton

the 06 900 built is pretty much done, i have been waiting for the 975 to come back from indydan since end of nov.

so assemble engine, replace busted front end plastic, finsih trail tank install, install ice age rails and skid, alignment and should be good to go.

but i need to get her sled finished up first so i can ride the 06 and her sled, the 975 wont be the daily rider, so it will be last of coarse, but a solid week of work i can get it done.

just been so busy its crazy...i dont know how it got so crazy the last 2 months, but it seems like it all piled up at once and the sleds got put on the back burner...

wanted to show you guys the Trail Tank.

I am running a 2009 Dragon 800 CFI pump, wired for a float (some arent i guess), this pump is a 4 bar, 58psi pump and is the exact same specs as the 05 RMK 900s, will not work on the 06 models..

The fuel pump wiring harness is a direct fitment to the stock wiring on the 900 as well ;)

The tank mods up very good. I had to trim a little section from the metal gaurd that is next to the brake rotor.

The MAG side of the tank fits nice, and the rubber hold down on the underneath of the steering hoop holds this side of the tank well.

the PTO side of the tank is lower, so you can either weld a bracket to the steering hoop to hold the tank down (which i might change to this summer cause i think its better) or you can use a rubber push style bracket. i got the push down bracket from Seth at trail tank...just need to drill a hole for it to mount to, but its so close to the fuel pump screw cap its hard to get it perfect.

I am using the newer IQ center console (07-09 i believe) and the contour of the tank fits the center console perfect, with no gaops.

I also got lucky and got a 2011 Pro RMK seat from the 2011 Snowest Build, and I am very greatful for the hook up on that one!!!

The OEM 900 fuel lines are too short to reach back to the pump since it since different, but its not a big issue, you can add an extension and get the fuel line adapters for cheap at your local hardware store, when i get to that point, i will show you what i did.

Also just need to drill 2 holes in the rear of the tunnel to hold the tank to the tunnel and BAM, trail tank ;)

some pics....

also using the 43" zbroz a-arms and 18" zero pro shocks on this instead of the 40" arms with 17" floats, the 40s /shocks are on my 06 900 now.

how about a side view of the sled so we can see what it looks like installed with the seat on.:face-icon-small-hap
