last time i seen a yamaha in actual tree riding i came home with a sore back..... i was talking to a die hard yammy rider and he would come straight out and say if it comes to side to side boondocking through the trees you will be twice as tired at end of the day throwing around those snow pigs.... and anyone who thinks there cool when they do figure 8ès in meadows for hours on end i recomend to learn how to ride a sled and play in the trees.

i used to ride all the time in the trees on my POS RT DOO & would come home sore everyday..............sounds like Doo has some heavy pigs too!!!!! Just like some of the Yammy's. The Nytro rides as good as, if not better than the revs.......... ask anyone that has ridden one(even Doo riders). Just depends what ur into & what color you want under ur azz everyday. Nobody wants to hang in the trees all day, it's just what you have to do in crappy weather or getting to the "goods".......... imo

oh yeah.......... still ride all the time in the trees......... just not sore anymore. I don't need to have a turbo in mine to make it work either. most guys don't either.

i can still do both with my little Nytro.
what's funny is how xxxpee riders have to try to make themselves feel better about their "rides" by trying to bash others.

Man I love these posts. From many of the comments you'd think that there is a gatekeeper at the edge of every grove that won't allow apex's, RT's and the like pass. In 3 feet of fresh, I've really enjoyed my Apex in the trees - and tight trees to be exact. Just ask anyone we've ridden with in those conditions. As for spring riding - that's a different matter. She don't handle quite as well in those conditions in & out of the trees. But good heck, enough with the "oh you ride an Yammy, well I'll just take you through the trees and you'll never hang" or the "oh you ride an Yammy, I guess all you do is point and shoot" comments. If you can't or choose not to take a Yammy through the trees, whoopteedoo, but don't think for a second that there aren't riders who can and do every ride.

That said, I really enjoy the trees on super deep days (limits avalanche risk) but not so much in the spring or on warmer days. Anyone else agree?
