Just goes to show that everybody with a functioning brain knows that building the wall is the right thing to do, should have been done decades ago. The only reason to oppose it is because it is a Trump project. The wall will make the country safer and start to limit the amount of financial drain from the flow of illegals into the country. It is good for everybody in the USA, end of story.
Alas, the Trump haters will never quit until they manage to elect another socialist intent on ruining what ever freedom is left in this country.

I personally think if we were to send EVERYONE home from Washington & essentially have "Jury Duty" for running the federal government (all 3 branches), you'd probably get better laws passed, more swamp drained, and more cooperation & actual governing than has happened for the last 30 years at least.
Fact - Anytime anyone brings up the investigation into Trump, he and all his "Our Great President Trump" adherents bring up Hillary.
The Mueller probe is not tasked with looking into Hillary Clinton, or Barack Obama, or Theodore Roosevelt, or Barry Goldwater. They are looking into Donald Trump's campaign. And they have uncovered that, yes, hush money was paid to multiple people, and Nearly everyone involved in his campaign, it seems, has made false statements again, and again, and again. Gee, I wonder where they picked up that habit.
I'm not defending Hilary Clinton. She's is probably at least as corrupt as Trump & his cronies. So investigate her & charge her with something. Trump is the freakin' president. If he thinks she should be investigated, why is only fox news looking into it? Could it be because MAYBE he doesn't really want to scratch the whole "let's investigate corruption" thing because he's as deep into it as the Clintons?

I am so sick of the *&^%@%&* political pendulum swinging so far left & right. Those of us in the middle are vilified by both sides & nobody knows how to be civil any more.

This is what political correctness gets you... I personally do not give a rats a$$ what comes out of his mouth. I care about what comes out of his office and so far, he has gotten more done than any president in my lifetime. I don't care if he is crass, I don't care if he is inconsiderate or rude, I really don't care because none of that matters, results matter and he is getting results.
That is how Washington was designed to work. We forget that in part because stupid liberals run around referring to our constitution as a "living document" or outdated or some such BS. Politics was NEVER intended to be a career. Serve your time, much like jury duty, go back to your job. This premise already exists in out federal structure. Yes, both sides have corrupted it because being a politician is extremely lucrative anymore.
I am not sure how we stop this but I agree with you, it needs to stop. When they can vote themselves high pay and special benefits, nobody is going to want to leave so they lie and cheat in order to continue stealing from us.
Trump being an egotistical misogynist is absolutely the least of this country's problems. I am amazed how many want a fine focus on this point because it has absolutely NO bearing on how the country progresses.
Been reading this thought I was smart enough to stay out of it. Turns out I am not. 5 things we have to fix IMO.
1. Secure the border. Immigration has tons of problems. We have to make the process work to come into this country for employment easier. There is lots to figure out, but the problem be more a little smaller the day the border is secure.
2. Term limits. 2 terms regardless of the position. No exceptions. Any elected official.
3. Tort reform. You should not be able to file suit because you spilled not coffee in your lap.
4. Veterans care. If you can't speak Russian thank a veteran. Those men and women are a national treasure, not an old rag to be thrown away when its used up.
5. Foreign policy IMO we still will have to be the world's police force BUT. Take care of us before we take care of them.

So investigate them & charge them with something. It's not a double standard. When someone obstructs justice, they should be held accountable, whether it's Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump or Joe Blow. MY point is the Mueller investigation IS NOT supposed to be focused on Clinton & any time anyone brings it up, all of Trumps supporters put THEIR heads in the sand & yell "HILLARY, HILLARY, HILLARY, HILLARY, HILLARY!" And Trump has used Burner phones & blocked numbers for years, and honestly, I don't blame him one bit for it. We've been spied on for at least 20 years now by our own government & the guy who exposed just how deep it was got charged with treason & Forced to seek asylum outside the US. THAT is a what I call a double standard.

We should, without any doubt, be disbanding the ridiculous TSA anyway. They have never stopped a single crime. They have inconvenienced millions over the years. Do it like most other countries, armed military visible in airport, walk people through metal detectors and quick scan bags. The TSA has made air travel SUCK with zero upside.
I don't know about that.
They have saved us from countless full size tubes of tooth paste being transported from origin to destination.

I'm "left" irritated after reading the never ending leftist news articles of sorrow for the government workers that are not getting paid due to the "evil" actions of Trump.
And yet we never see any concern or sympathy from these same outlets when the left's policies put American workers out of a job such as: War on Coal, illegals taking Americans jobs, manufacturing decline, etc.
Always one way I guess
