Does Tahoe have good snow? Odd to think that they might have the best snow in the country right now

California is getting slapped with the biggest storm in 15 years ... mostly rain but couple feet snow expected from Los Angeles to Truckee

Then another storm 15-17 dec and another 19-21 several more feet expected at 7000 feet

Then another right around X-mas

Well, the rest of Colorado may be high and dry but here in the Flat Tops we have had about 10 feet of snow for the season with the last three feet in the last week. Not as much as we go early season last year but still great snowmobiling. Here is a link to a youtube video shot on location yesterday along with some photos. We are at an elevation of 8400 feet tucked in a valley and the riding goes up to 12,500 feet. We had over one foot of snow over the weekend, another foot of snow yesterday and it is still snowing off and on today and will continue to snow tomorrow. We have aboout 2-5 feet of base depending on your elevation and of course more snow fell at our higher elevations but I couldn't tell you how much more than what we got at the cabin.

Anyone else got snow? it started out good here in early november. Been sad since then, massive rain storm this last weekend pretty much ruined everything.

its like 55 at my house today and sunny WTF! I might mow the lawn! lol

We have had over 12 feet of snow this season on the Northern end of the Flat Tops. About five of it over the last two weeks or so. The snowmobiling is great! I attached a short video and some photos.

We still have this upcoming weekend available: Sat Dec 27 and Sunday Dec 28th checking out on Monday, Dec 29 by 9am. We usually require a three day minimum but will make an exception for anyone wanting to come out this weekend.

Just got back to my hometown in South East Alaska, expecting to get a ride or two in with my buddies while I'm home, but that's not going to happen! No snow down in this area either!! We had such a dismal snow season here last year, that I don't think we could handle another one!! Pray4snow!!
