I have had gas and carb/brakeclean in my eyes many times. You would think I would learn from my mistakes, but I don't.
The one that really scared me was when a car battery blew up in my face. Chunks of plastic and acid in my face and eyes (F'ing Interstate batteries). I have had two of them blow up on me.
All I can say is flush, flush and flush. I now wear safety glasses more often.
Funny, it happened to me an hour ago. Man does it hurt. I had a fuel filter with 5 inches of line on it. It got caught behind the steering post. Pulled a little harder and wamo gas in the eyes. I was all by myself in my shop and screamed like a girl. I can only compare it to when in Jr high I had a can of Copenhagen hidden in my boxers at school. Whell the lid somehow came off and burned my beanbag like wildfire. I no longer carry chew in my underwear.
