how do we know Martin didn;t respond "im visiting my pa"..and Zimmerman replied your "lying and im gonna beat the truth out of ya"...then its all down hill from there ain;t it..??...

maybe its all like in "Dallas" and its a year long dream and he ain;t dead..

I don't think either of them broke the law and were both within their legal rights, Martin had a right to walk through the neighborhood and Zimmerman had a right to follow him.

The real issue is how the confrontation started but nobody seems to really know that for sure.

When I was a teen and thought I was tough $h** I would not have let Zimmerman follow me around and would have dis-respected his legal rights and tried to stop him with physical force if necessary. That seems like the likely scenario to me. However, I do know grown men who suffer from tough guy syndrome even at Zimmerman's age and it's totally possible he was the aggressor. If this is the case it would be unlikely Zimmerman would admit to getting his a$$ kick by Martin before pulling the gun. At least until he realized how much trouble he was in.

I agree, its weird no one knows how the confrontation started. I think the case really depends on who threw the first punch. If it was Zimmerman he got what was coming to him, if it was the kid who threw the first punch then its on him.

It is a conspiracy! There was a 3rd person, who secretly hit both Martin, and Zimmerman making them each think the other had started the fight!

This is a gated community. It is not public property therefor Martin did not have the "right" to be there unless he owned property there or was invited there by a property owner, that is why it is gated. To keep undesirables out. All the kid had to do when questioned by Zimmerman was to say I am staying with my dad Mr. Martin at such and such address and it probably would have been over. I don't know for sure but I would bet he did not respond that way, knowing how young people are getting now days. A lot of them think they have the right to do whatever they want. After all this is America. I have the right to blah blah blah blah blah!!!!!!

I just hate how Martin's parents act. They act like the kid was a 4.0 student who never did anything wrong and was on his way to curing cancer. No, sorry mom and dad as much as you tried to hide it your son got caught dealing drugs in school, and I'm sure there are other things he's done you don't know about...or perhaps you do.

You must not have kids...all parents think their kids are special. Look what Zimmerman's father has said about the incident and his own son.

All of which are completely irrelevant in the shooting death of Martin
