Gates 44C4553

Who's carrying these belts??? After 1000 miles on my first belt and 1000 miles on my second belt, I guess it's time for a new one.... I think I'm gonna give this one a try!! Gotta love Polaris clutching!!

That's awesome. I'd like to try one. Been running 048 on mine. I've just been on the if it aint broke don't fix it and 1000 out of a belt is awesome.

Does Gates warranty the belts? .... that would be cool!!

Tony, Thank you for all of the well researched posts and the long time sledding expertise you share with us!!

.

Will this belt work on the new Axys, or what belts will? I have used the cat 048 belt with 900 miles and no troubles so not looking to switch, but might if it fits the new sled.

Pretty sure Cat 048 won't. AXYS has a new belt-- not the 115. Believe CTC distance is longer due to motor sitting lower in chassis.

Gates= one year warranty on snowmobile belts-- barring racing, abnormal use, worn out clutch components, etc

Warranty card and info is inside the label

But it would stand to reason that Gates will make a belt for the Axys as well.
The Axys belt being a $200 belt they could have a seller!

Ordered my first two! Lots of places selling them WAY below the $190 price mentioned.

If this will last like a 115 and clutch like a Cat belt, I'll be one happy camper!

Thanks again Tony.

I have one on order my cost is 97.13 but I have a very good relationship with the dealer so I get crazy good deals on this stuff MSRP is around 190.00 my dealers cost is 68.00. If this works as well as reported I will be buying a few of these.

Grabbed two of them for my sleds. Seem to work awesome on our IQ 600. Thanks for insight into using them. Been a while since an aftermarket company made a good aftermarket belt for Polaris machines.

just ordered 2 for me, I will take your guys word for it, if these belts suck I will come and find you :boxing: just kidding found them at 70 bucks a pop even if they suck its a cheap spare... thanks for the headsup

Where did you find them for 70.00? hat was for the "C" and not the "G" letter?

I have seen them for that cheap also. Being in Alaska, and having no local dealer to support. I Google the part number and see who has the best rates and go from there. The cheapest price I've seen is from Rock Auto" $69.79 EA plus the ride, or "Discount Fleet Supply" $70.97 EA plus the ride. The next cheapest was Amazon at $98.74 with free shipping.
