FYI: NEW PRODUCT... POWER ADDICTION PRO-RMK 800CFI BILLET HEAD AND HPS SILENCER COMBO

First off I am not sure the hps would work with the dyno port pipe. My head on the other hand will work with the dyno port full pipe system. Chad from a2d sledworks sells the crap out of them in achorage. I talked with him also and he does not run a fuel controller either. Maybe he will chime in . \
Brad

i've ridden chad's sled and it runs strong. even though he doesn't run a fuel box, i do believe he runs a little higher octane and tries not to hold it wfo for tooooooo long. but he may have done some more testing since the last time i talked with him. he'll chim in when he sees this.

0-3000 12.5
3-6000 13.1
5-10000 13.6

If you buy a head and want two styles of domes I discount the domes to 65.00 on the sale of the purchase. I have lots of guys from the flatlands that run there sleds at 500 ft and then go to the mountians and throw in the 13.6 when they head out west.

So I will hopefully have more hps in stock next week If anyones intersted in the combo. Sure has been fun this year I did a dyno test at cpi this last wensday . The head was a huge improvement on there dyno. At
4500 +12 hp
5000 +14 hp
6000 +9 hp
7000+4 hp
7950 + 5.5 hp

This was just the head ONLY!!!

No pc either bone stock sled. We had a airfuel ratio on the exhast in the tune and was very respectable for the tune also. One other thing with the stock head when we loaded the motor it had a hell of a time getting past the hestiation with the load . With the head It was so much more crisp that it pulled right through at full load with NO hesitation.

I will get the stock graphs with the head overlay this week and post!

was this with the 12.5cr head?

Was 7950 peak with your head? Or did it fall of to stock hp levels at 8250?

It made the most hp at about 8050 rpm . Both the stock and the head fell off the higher the rpm went up I am going there on Wensday this week and I will have the paper work. Brad

are you going to dyno with the hps when you get them in to do a comparison?

Yes, please! I would be nice to compare to the stock can to see what is going on. I bought the combo and I'm hearing stories of the HPS not playing well with the PA head. I'd like to see some proof in the pudding.

Good stuff, thanks for coming on Brad.

^^^^ I would also like to see the stock can vs HPS on the dyno. Have you done that yet Brad?

What have you heard Bugito about the hps can and head combo? Have not seen anything on hear that I recall.
I would be also interested in seeing results from different cans.

I am totally out of silencers or I would have them try it. I got pushed back a day on going down to cpi. I am going to go tomorrow . I can get the can on the dyno should be no problem and I will get some results. Brad

In clutching mine last season,I suspected that 8250 8300 was to high! Seemed to pull hard bottom and mid but as the rpm built it seemed to fall flat was thinking it was the EPI weights but mabe I was reving to high? Going to load the clutch now! Brad really need to see that dyno sheet!!! What did the torque peak at??

I am not sure what the tq did . I didnt make it down today I am hoping for a trip tomarrow. I will upload it as soon as I get it. On your RPM I am extremely suprised that your sled doesnt just det all the time . You need to be at that 8100 rpm mark try adding two grams on your wieght and load that motor a little harder. I think you will find it will be amazing at that rpm.

Brad

Looking at the hp numbers at 4500 and 5000, the torque curve is impressive!

ok.......what does that mean? at what rpm is peak torque? i'm more interested in that number (curve) than hp.
