FYI: NEW PRODUCT... POWER ADDICTION PRO-RMK 800CFI BILLET HEAD AND HPS SILENCER COMBO

I don't think that any of the pipes are worth what they cost.

from my person experience i have to disagree with this. of course i got a decent deal on a slp pipe w/ pc5 for 800, so not as expensive as brand new, but noticed a significant gain. i was actually pleasantly surprised b/c i noticed a much larger gain on the pro than i did when i put a pipe on my 09 dragon. everyone talked abut how much of a difference a pipe made on a dragon but i just didn't see it. it ran a little better but couldn't even add any weight to the clutches. on the pro i had to add two grams and i'm still pulling more rpm than before. keeping in mind, this is at low elevation 0 to maybe 5000 feet. not sure how much of an effect that has.

as far as upgrading the shocks, i agree 100% with clarke. pretty much a necessity if you ride hard at all. even after having them re-valved twice by carl's (which did help some) they still bottom super easy (rmk shocks not assault). going to try holz setup this year.

Brad, I was wondering about the HPS can. Do you think that the HPS can actually gains any H.P.?? or is all the extra power coming from the head?

I know it is quite a bit louder than stock. How much of a weight difference is there compared to stock?
I really don't want a lot more noise for no power gains.

The can is not really that loud first off. Yes it does help in the performance. It is about 6-7 lbs lighter than stock and is good for about 50-100 rpms. You will get more hp from the head no dought than the silencer. I see about 200 rpms more. Brad

Hey Brad, I got my 12 Pro recently and was wanting to go with your head-can combo but was wondering if I needed to break the sled in with all the stock parts first and then install the head or can I put it on as it sits and do the break in period with the head installed? Does it matter? Also, has anything changed from the 11's to the 12's that have any affect on the performance/reliability of this upgrade? I rode my 11 Pro 1200 miles last season bone stock and absolutely loved it so I can only imagine what a little more grunt will do for this thing. Thanks.

Good question. The only good reason I would ride it once is so you can see exactly how much differance you will see after you bolt the goods on . LOL You will love it once you do it if you can wait that long. If I were in your shoes I would just put it on as I am pretty impatent I think I would just do it.

Brad,
Has anyone ever had coolant leak issues with this head? The ONLY reason I'm asking is because of a previous problem I had with an aftermarket head(NOT POWER ADDICTION). I've heard nothing but good things about this head. This is just something I've been thinking about, so I'm asking.

I'm pretty impatient too so if it makes no difference I'll probly just put it on. My brother also has a 12 Pro with just an SLP can on it so I'll have a good comparison. I'm not gonna tell him what I did, I'll just let him ride it and make him think he got a dud LOL, but then he's gonna have to have one when he finds out about mine. Thanks Brad, I'll be placing my order in the next couple days.
P.S. I love the sound of the HPS can, bada**!

No cooling issues at all with this one.

Hey Brad, I heard you'll be at the puyallup show. Are you bring heads with you as I will probably get one then?

Hey Brad did you have anyone at the Denver show sellin your goods? Also, I'm lookin to put the dyno port pipe on with your head and can because apparently you don't have to run a fuel controller with it. Do you know anything about that or have any advice? Do you think it will work ok?

I'd be interested in knowing the answer to this one and at what elevation.

First off I am not sure the hps would work with the dyno port pipe. My head on the other hand will work with the dyno port full pipe system. Chad from a2d sledworks sells the crap out of them in achorage. I talked with him also and he does not run a fuel controller either. Maybe he will chime in . \

Hope he does!

Your head and a single pipe w/no controller needed would be super sweet.
Would that be your head making a faster and better burn allowing the the engine to be pushed a little more within the stock fuel mapping?

Anyone know if a stock pro would benefit from a little less fuel?
