Forum Expert 9R review

This is the road society is going down. Bunch of Nancy's. Everyone has feelings to hurt!

You started it! Ok, technically just the thread, but I got my eye on you Jayquellin!

Anyway, it's silly season in here, but I hear it's nothing like the old days. Whatever the case, it's still the internet, so take it for what it's worth...

Glad they are not all that way. Spoke for one for 24. If cat had their sled ready I'd try one of those.
Cat has a great sled ready for 24! U probably wouldn't be able to look past the 600cc power output to accept how well the chassis works, though.
Hopefully, early next season, u will hear lots of reports on the feel of the lgr engine. I would say it's ~15hp more than the current 800, and so smooth. (I don't know anything, don't ask [emoji2958])

I regards to the 9R vibration, much of it may be related to clutching, well at least once the track is turning. Any sled that is over-revving can vibrate. I had a Doo that did the same. Once the motor was loaded it was much smoother. My 23 Matryx 850 also had the pull starter handle vibrate terribly, until I wrapped it with foam. This was not an issue on my Axys. It was just the shape of the bodywork where the handle sat that was to blame.

So either the current 800 is pathetic or they're adding forced induction to a 600?

You're not getting more power without something.

And after riding an alpha I'll stick to the twin rail sleds. It's great on hard pack to just lean it over, but damn does it wash out bad in the sugar snow.

You think its gonna be a 175-180hp 600?

Maybe it’s a stroker too! ? Heard other guys (on internet) say they thought it was a larger displacement than 600. Guys who know the difference. Just sayn not arguing or knowing doodley squat but being ocd with internet garbage... who would like a “chadley don’t give a F$$$k.” stickers to tag on guys **** in parking lots? My wife’s a graphic designer I’ll have her whip some up!

Well that’s it you’ve forced my hand old man. Its official, I’m putting a rainbow unicorn wrap on my next sled and wearing a pride flag as a cape. That way when I show up to ride with you everyone knows the circus is in town.
Twill be quite the show???

Does anyone have a set of 78 weights they pulled out of their Boost P-22 clutch that they would sell? I need to try them in my 9R as it is turning to high of RPM's and the cruising Rpm's is too high for my liking. I ordered the high alitude set- up but ride more in the 5000' range. I order a set of 80's but most all of the p-22 weights are back ordered. I know I could order a set of after market adjustable weights but not sure I want to mess with them. David 503 394 two349

If you stay under 5k then you want 78s. If you are over 5k then get 76s. Weights are tough to come by right now.

I was running 76s. Seemed good to me. Caleb had 72s and was over revving. He was looking for 74s.
Got a cns clutch kit coming. They claim 8300. When we came off Jefferson and was in bottom, at probably 6500, it was hitting 8550. My buddy was riding it so i never rode it up top. Seems like mid 4s to unload and alot of 6ish and 7ish to 8 is about max if you're lucky. Been a year or 2.

8300 is leaving some on the table. I don't care what their engineer's say. You want minimum 8400 and if you're riding trees who cares about a little over rev.
