The big four crushed your dreams man and the larven company closed its doors so you don't have that going for you either. At least you got a coat.

tell us the story with you and your redline

Well many many moons ago there was a company named Redline, They has some cool ideas for a sled. I ordered one, They did not show but I got a Jacket and my deposit back, Then I reordered and got another dif jacket and Pants this time, the sleds did not show again, A few prototypes, still a work in progress. This kept going on for a few years. In 04 I was in CA and stoped at the Factory, I had gotten to know a few of the guys from many many Phone calls so I got to see a lot of stuff, Got loaded up with tee shirts and even a few motor parts:cool:.... Anyway time went on and in late the dealer in CT got there second sled, This one was done to the point that we could ride it and there was still some snow in VT when the sled showed up in early April so of to VT we went. Well the sled was a bit under powered but the Suspension was the best I had ever rode. Well I thought for sure I would have mine in the fall but the bottom fell out that summer, I could have gotten mine because they did ship 54 sleds and I was #3 on the list but I desided to pass. So other than some cool swag and some memories thats the story.

Well I did get hammered on here and by some friends over the years over the hole Redline thing too but it was worth it.:face-icon-small-hap

Ha! Great pics of the little one!
I'm taking our 6yr old out riding tomorrow in the pow.
He probably won't sleep tonite with anticipation.

Well, all I can say regarding Redline is be glad they focused on sleds and not boats or airplanes. ;-) I still think they'll ship late this spring 09, or next fall once the final super-secret special setup is finalized. ....and they remove the ATV wheels and put those skis back on the prototype. My dealer double-secret promised me they would...and gave me this handy tote bag.

Ahh..that felt good.

I think Shad Free was the only one to really get to experience the Red Sasquatche - before they dumbed down the rear suspension - it actually looked cool. Just wish they would have shipped more units even if they were imperfect.

Now, we're old - and building houses, and riding skidoo's!

LOL.

;-)

MtnDoo

BTW - you can still have a Redline - they show up on eBay from time to time.

Oh come on now. None of "US" would ask about your phantom sled, stealth sled, inviso-sled or anything like that. lol

When ya gonna put your girl on her own sled?
