Floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee.

Just wait till the years almost over then do your survey. Nothings gonna be proved by taking a dependability survey this early on with a few hundred kms.. Wait till we $hit drive these things for a season, then lets see if the loud, smart guys still feel the same way. From any one of the breeds.

i couldn't agree more. i was simply trying to point out that doo has many more units out there than everyone else, thus they are gong to have a higher number of people with problems. the "i saw 2 xp's getting towed out" may be true, but what about the other 200 still on the hill. same for yammie's and poo's, maybe cats:face-icon-small-hap.

My XP is great, it's fast, handles well and does not eat belts. Sure I set up clutch and did little adjustments but it rocks. Yes, and although fit and finish is very good, there are some stupid things that should have been corrected prior to shipping. I heard that more XP's were sold than all models of all other manufacturers combined! This must have been a nightmare for the production line. I am not surprized that not all the bugs were out before shipping. Mine was already 1 month late and to be honest I rather take it the way it was than wait until everything was figured out. This sled makes me a better rider than I could have ever imagined.:D

I don't buy it, If there is a ton more XP's sold then the porblems are even bigger.

Why would Doo worry about your breakdowns , when you would rather own a broken XP than any other sled? It would seem that that is the problem. You can't blame Doo.
Just speaking for myself, I'd rather snowshoe than pay 11 grand for a broken down sled.

couldnt agree with ya more,on the snowshoe thing. i took my xp out on sunday and tried to blow it and let my kid and his 2 freinds ride the hell out of it, it was put through the paces for three staight hours deep snow and all up hill, it does have a fiber comming out of the belt, and it put every sled that was there to shame no matter who was driving it

If I took a 425 pound dump, would you guys ride it too?
Now that is good comedy...lmao.

I feel for the Doo guys...sucks to spend good $ on a sled and have it run like krap. Been there done that...sucks.

wow if you think xps are a pos then fill out rest of the list dragon 800 having many issues when you hit a pine needle the sub frames bend on the nytro arcticat M sleds have ecu troubles and bog problems...

High production is no excuse when they charge as much as they do.And no sled gives you better riding skills it just makes you look better.

how can a nytro bend? there 80% steel, that sh!ts hard to bend. lol

Crazy Canadian Seemed To Like It??

Not sure what all of the issues are with the xps, but a good riding budding has one and he says it's the best sled out of the box he has owned, it climbs just about anything you point it at and he was on the throttle all day.

In fact, we went riding with Dan Davidoff who was riding a 08 m1000 and when we had some real tuff stuff to get out of he opted for the XP, from what I saw it was at LEAST as good as the 1000, maybe better.

When you consider it is only an 800 I'd have to say it kicked butt!!!

I don't own a REV, I've got a zx chassis with an 1150 cpc, but seeing the XP go that day JUSY ABOUT made me want to go back to stock.

If someone had a good turbo kit for the 800R that would be my next sled, as it is, my next sled will probably be a M8T, but as stockers go...the XP would be my choice.

LOL where is the popcorn.

it doesnt matter what you have or what ur buddy has as long as you are having a good weekend and you are not broken down your good to go..

and umm my Nytro for being stock, will not buckle and i will do 60 70 ft droops wiht it, i have it trees wiht it, and i DO NOT baby it.

everyone i ride with owns a skidoo and thats alot of ppl, sure there is the few AC POL in the group, and well we do all have our little problems, but iam not being that d!<k in here. but i would have to say everytiem we go out the Ski-doos seem to be the ones breaking down. its just bad luck is what that is, and really i dont like seeing it cuz it wrecks my weekend as well cuz either iam driving or iam wiht them, so either way we are all screwed..

don't you normally hang out in the yammi forum:rolleyes::confused:

what? did ya miss me? funny most of the negative comments on the doo forum come from yamaha riders? i no it sucks when you yammie boys have to dish out all that money for your sled, then have to spend that much again to make it go! i just cant figure out why you guys hate doo for that? its not there fault for trying to built a lite mountain sled that weve all beening asking for, for years!

haha the steel front ends on the nytro look like hollow tubing that is twisting and bending like no other maybe yamaha should have designed it out of aluminum and made it stronger.... 60 70 foot drops ^ on the nytro eh i didn't no pigs could fly id like to see a vid of this. and i am vector shouldn't you be riding a meadow some where?
