Wow this is not the easiest thing in the world to put in. I have had help from two other guys trying to get this thing together for three nights. It is not for the faint of heart. All three of us have a really good understanding of mechanics and it has not been fun there has been lots of grinding down tools to make them fit while putting on the new turbo and lots of nasty words been said. When u put in the new jack shaft it replaces some of the factory parts would of been nice to know about. If anyone needs some words of advice if they are going to put in a kit I will help u out the best I can. I just put in a Big Chute Turbo, Stage 3 TLC Delete, Head Studs, Chain, Manual Tensioner, Fan Kit, Full 2.5 Exhaust.

That right there is a good days work lol. You are correct thou, the TCL delete involves the most brain work. You can only get so far in instructions or it becomes a novel. Like I tell anyone that asks if they can install anything other than the bolt on stuff....if you have only done bolt on stuff this will be a challenge.

I'm in the middle of doing my BC kit. Haven't really had any snags yet. Did find it a bit of a challenge to get the lower oil drain off the turbo. Projects always seem like a lot of work until your done then you sit back and have a good laugh. Im sure you would rather curse swear and scratch your head in the comfort of your shop, rather then the side of the mountain!

That oil line is a pain in the butt to put back on when u put the new turbo on. I took my oil filter off and that helped alot. When u go to put the new turbo in hook up the two antifreeze lines first or at lease the bottom one first and tighten it up it is a major pain in the butt. And the top oil line u will have to bend it cause the new waist gate is bigger. I also put all new studs and nuts on to. Are u getting a new exhaust to?

Yea i assumed it would be tough goin back in, filter is already out. I'm doing a three inch track, did the bdx 38" front end all at the same time so basically the sled is all over my garage. Iam running a 3" exhaust

I agree that the TCL stage III can be a pain. I would recommend Evolved customs for guys that are thinking about doing the stage III delete and are within the area. Great instal and you know it's done right.

Bigstick,

Please call if you have questions on the turbo install. There should not be any grinding of anything but the oil drain flange.

Is that new secondary really tight on that new jack shaft of a reason? Cause it goes on the old jack shaft easy but the new EVO one is tighter than U know what.
