doo vs poo price tags

You are a bit lost on your #'s. Doo's site shows MSRP for 2012's Summit X STARTS at 11999.00.

They are all within close range of each other. (Still to dammmmmmmmmm high)!!

And included in Skidoo's price is a years supply of Pepé Le Pew Savory BBQ Frog Legs. Just kidding..no really

Preface: I ride a 06 Ski-doo X.

When I priced the Pro RMK vs Doo X before this year started the Doo was a little more expensive, not by enough that it would make a difference which I would buy had I truly been in the market for a new sled. They are both damn good sleds, the advantage I saw, Pro = 4 year warranty, Doo = 2 years. I usually keep my stuff for awhile so that's important to me.

That Ptec price seems like a bargain. I am not good tuning and want as trouble free as possible so bought the ETEC. My ETEC is not letting me torture it as bad as I want to though. The brain keeps interfering with my fun.

Both of those prices are for the carbed motors in the old chassis. I didn't even know they still made a 600 carb... I guess they do though. The 800 ptek is looking to be a great value. Dunno how many they will sell though to be honest. If you are gonna spend that much you may as well just pony up the extra $3000 or whatever it will be for the etec in the XM chassis.

Snowmobiler your wrong again

Ski-Doo Summit X e-tech 146, (it wouldn't give me the 154 option) $11,999 MSRP US right off there website
Polaris Pro rmk with the 155 $11,799, so you get lighter weight and a longer track for less money :)

Now to get the Summit X you need to snow check so let's say you also snow check the Pro and if they offer it again Polaris gives you a 4 year warranty, Pro wins again better luck next year Snowmobiler :D

And if you look at the HP numbers, Doo wins. But if you do the HP to weight numbers, they both come in at .35 HP to Weight or 2.79 lbs/Hp. So there really is no difference other than lower price and better warranty that comes with Poo.

And there is the real world end of the "UNDER POWERED PRO" BS argument Cat and Doo guys are always spewing about the Pro.

Power-to-weight ratio.
