I was at those exact spots too. It is really cool up there.

Ya Walden is kind of weak as far as dunes go (it is very small once you been to other places like, St Anthony ID, Killpecker WY, Little Sahara UT ect) but there is no other place I have been where you can get down in to the trees and play around

That sounds like a great idea. My crf doesn't have fox floats, hmmm sounds like a great idea though on the pump going with.

My CR250 doesn't have Floats either, I just pack the little pump along, fits nicely in my camelbak

How do other single track areas in CO compare to Taylor Park-Crested Butte as far as dirt biking goes?

I've ridden the Taylor single track stuff but haven't done any serious single track at other areas in CO.

I'd love to come out this summer and do some single track, see some great scenery while at the same time meeting fellow sledheads.

Depends on what you like to ride. Taylor has awesome high mountain technical single track and tons of two track. Dozens of other areas like it across the state. Woodland Park, Rainbow,Sargents,Grand Lake/Rand, Lake City/Silverton, Grizzly/Hellena, Hahn's Peak. All have good trails and excellent riding. Plenty of desert single track as well. We just did 62 miles of great single track yesterday and did not see another rider all day!

Ike, you shoulda made the trip for the enduro east of Walsenberg. I'm retarded for thinking I'd be competitive after only one ride this year. We need to hook up for some riding this summer.

Did you go up 25 Road to the top of the Bookcliffs and come down 23 Road??? Great loop. I'll bet the gnats were eating you alive when you stopped though. They are THICK in the cedars now.

Hey Sam, Good to hear from ya.

Ray and I were just riding some of the single track up againt the bookcliffs and stoppped there for a break. The bugs weren't too bad that day but they are getting more active.
We put in about 60 miles of single track that day and never saw another rider all day. The canyon we are looking up has a gnarly single track up it and we are planning on riding it soon. Would be a good three person ride as some of the ledges are a bit tricky and might require some additional assistance.
Another good loop is up 21rd and down 18rd.

Hope you had a good season. Would love to do some flying this summer if you need someone in the right seat.

We hit the single track down by McCoy Saturday. Rode the single track behind Kremmling. Gotta go to the BLM office FIRST thing tomorrow morning to find out why, WITH NO NOTICE, trails that have been there since I was a kid (20 years ago) were closed last week. Time to get a petition going and have them tell us when the next meeting is as raise some hell.

There are no hills to climb now, Mulberry is private and has been closed and the Bluffs North of town have been closed in the last 3 or 4 days! Fcuking ridiculous!
