Dardanelle's update!!

This is a great place we rode up in the winter and they werent technically open yet the fed us for 2 days and gave us a room...I did pay $8 a gallon for fuel for the sleds though. Great place needs to be more like it.

should we start taking bets on how long before the new owners (if it sells) have to shut the doors and put it back on the market :eek:

I talked to the most recent buyer. Micheal's wife and she said they miss it, had it down, but there were to many obstacles for a full buy out, to say the least! They had to walk away.

Here is a three year old pick. My son and I spent the night and this is our sleds the next morning.

There is a lodge near thew giant Sequoia's like Daranelle's but it is at 7000 feet and trail riding until out of the land of the giants.

The way they survived is to cater to motorcycle club "rally" trips and it is now a popular destination for bike clubs.

Like I said before I would think you could get some good rides out of there....forum rides etc. Its a rustic old place with History and if I could it would be mine. Wish wish....maybe the lodge fairy will give me one......not gonna happen...if someone wants to buy it I will run it for you.

I think i was there that weekend Bart... it was the first time we hung out! Man, that was some unreal snow?! If i remember correctly there was an avy on the way out and it was super bowl Sunday!

Steve the Canadian, You were! from what you can remember of it."lol":beer;

Thanks for cutting through the avi so my son and I could get home.

It is listed for 1.3mm

Present tenant has it till September with option to buy.

Its alot of money but the right marketing and adventure services might be able to float it. But probably not....need alot of cash reserves to do it right.

The last sell was around 650 (if I remember correctly) but the woman running it became ill.

Don't know he condition but thought it was the big C.
