fleece performance just came out with a controler that can changes the nozzle position in the turbo. the test trucks are seeing 2mpg gain or you can change it to get higher boost. They are going to be on the fleece site today.
just reset the meter going downhill....my 03 gets 99.9 mpg ...lol
sounds like a durmax guy......blah blah blah
the 03 4x4 dodge auto srw 3500 i have gets 20 empty if i keep my foot out of it! but since it dynoed @545hp and 1287 ft lb you can get real crappy mpg if you dont keep your foot outa it
the 04 4x4 hand shaker drw 3500 flatty gets 17 combined city/hwy but never gets above 18 on the hwy gets a bit revy when your running 80+
thats all figured by my pen and paper 'cause the overhead lies ....its the feel good meter!
I have an 05' with an Edge box and on PAPER @ 60 mph it will get 25 to 26. @ 65 to 70 mph it will get 22 to 24. That's no joke. With a trailer gets 13 to 18 depending on size. Them figures are all on PAPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hell, one trip to Iowa with the speed limits being 55 (SUCKS!!!!!) and a tail wind, the truck did 28.5!!!!!!!
Best I've got with my stock 07 is 19.8 from Butte, MT to Seattle. Had the cruise set at 70. Now that I'm in Hawaii, it's mainly town driving and the best I've got out here is 17.33. Since I've put my Smarty Jr on, it's gone down a little. Too hard to keep my foot out of it. All hand calculated mpg, not overhead.
