There is nothing wrong with being Indian, Jewish, White, Black, Asian or Spanish. Get MY point?

So is there anything wrong with being a polygimist, other then federal laws....one coudl argue they are quietly practicing relgion(not sure why anyone would want more then one wife though).

I get they were being punk kids, but I would be hella pissed if anyone for any reason other then an emergency was honking at 11 pm.

How is honking a horn a crime or even worse... a hate crime? I will be scared to see what things are like in 20 years from now if people think honking a horn is a hate crime.

This country is not from this being a hate crime. Look at it Polygamy is lifestyle, these kids were f*&^ing with these people because of there lifestyle. Hate crimes don't have to be violent or be across race lines. If there is a history of these folks getting messed with it wouldn't be a stretch for a attorney to push the issue.

If I were them I wouldn't mess with them anymore, I am sure Utah has some kind of Harrassment laws and now there is documented history of these kids messing with them. They do it again, they could probaly be hooked-up for it and taken down to the pokey (some pun intended). This would probaly also mean somekind of probation that sould be a crappy way to start out as a 18 year old.

A lot of this may seem like crap to many people, but the courts won't take it lightly. I have yet to see a judge that would read that report and laugh.

Sure we've all done some stupid stuff and 90% of the time we didn't get caught. That 10% of the time you do get caught you just have to eat it and be thankful they don't know about the other 90%.

Cops get to have fun too and if they want to jerk your chain a little bit for being a dink then they get to. You don't always get to be the one pushing someone's buttons, sometimes people push yours, so don't whine when it happens.

As for the using oranges, my guess depending on where its at in UT they prob have a few trees like some of us have apples or other fruit trees so you use what ya got layin around that is free. I'd prob used some spuds

I have nothing wrong with a man who can provide (financially, physically, and emotionally) for multiple families. Though, it has to be darn complicated.

Maybe mine when I mentioned a Mormon judge as a worst case scenario? It is all good and I can see both sides of the story. Yea, they are innocent people just like everyone else and shouldn't be harassed. But, he only did something fairly innocent and didn't cause anyone any harm. Maybe the fact that the Po-Po put a scare into him will prevent it from happening again. If he does it again and gets caught and in trouble it will be his own fault. Sorry if I ruffled anyone's feathers as I was just on the original posters team and just looking for some good discussion.

Now someone needs to tell my girlfriend that sharing and living the polygamist lifestyle is a good thing if NOT married.

First off all you guys thinking i sat in a neighborhood honking all night are wrong. It is a one way road, there is not a 1 house on it, just at the top of it their is a polygamist complex.

This is kinda a tradition at our high school, everyone takes their shoot at it, and it is kinda like a compition over who can get the most little polygamist kids to run out, the record is still 32. HAHA! but anyways

You guys can say i'm childish, desrespect people all you want, but i don't feel to bad doing it, its a joke its not like we are knocking their mailbox over, we are honking a horn! and dodging their kid's oranges! i'm sure the kids had a blast chucking oranges at us.

Do you think messing with the polygamist kids was reason for the cops search my car, he said if i told him no he would get a warrent, so i just said yes, i didn't care.

You can say i'm a punk all you want and whatever else you guys were calling me but the fact is i'm a good kid, although you guys prob don't think so. The majority of my class is out drinking, getting down with girls, swerving all over the roads thinking they are funny. I am a good kid, plan on going on an LDS mission next winter. I have never done anything that wrong, i am responsible, i work 40 hours a week in the summer.

Ya we prob shouldn't of done it, and were just planning on driving away after a couple honks, but all the little boys in their polygamist outfits throwing oranges was just to funny to leave. They had fun, we had fun, i just don't see why some of you are freaking out so bad
