NO DOUBT! People need to lighten the fuk up.

I will come and honk my horn in front of your house when your are trying to sleep. We will then see who needs to lighten up..........

Oh, and I will choose to do it in front of your house because of your religious affiliation.

If you want to drive all the way over here to honk in front of my house because I pray to the snow god, I will feed you and give you a beer or 2 when wear out your horn. Peace..

How is honking a horn a crime or even worse... a hate crime? I will be scared to see what things are like in 20 years from now if people think honking a horn is a hate crime.

I'm not saying that they should have been charged with it. They have gone nuts with the politically correct BS these days and I would not rule it out as a possibility. Lighten up Francis.

It is Olaf, not Francis. :D I know you didn't say they should be.... and like you, I can't stand the PC BS.

So you're saying Polygamy is a religion?

If they are practicing polygamy, they are most likey members of the same church that branched off from the mormon church in the early 1900's. I believe that is the fundamentalist mormon church, the same one that has been in the headlines for the raid down in Texas.

:beer; Gotcha!

None of you were ever 18 and did dumb stuff for fun? I highly doubt that. They honked a horn at some polygimist's house. I am 32 and find that funny. LOL, and the mental pic of 20 kids throwing oranges.... ROFL. They didn't do anything really wrong and there was no need for the cops to do that. I bet the cops laughed at it when they left.
This is the attitude from parents that contributes to our society going down hill. Ahhh he is youn officer let him off he will learn. BS punish him and teach him a lesson so he dosen't do stupid sh1t again.
I don't agree with this. Accusations of drunk driving and stolen firearms, which if were pursued could have led to much more long term repercussions for these two. Is honking a horn and being a brat, which they most admittedly were and do need to learn some respect, necessitate a ruined lifetime?

Plus, it sounds like a potential 4th amendment issue, which more and more instances are occurring. Who polices the police???
If I was a cop and some kid was dumb enough to park in front of a house and lay on the horn I would probably assume they were drunk too. I would figure no one not on something could be that inconsiderate.
Good greif guys give them a break! He already said they don't drink or do drugs, so they gotta find someway to have a good time.:D
Hunt, fish, dirt bike, mtn bike, sled, heck playin card games, all fun things that don't effect other people negatively.
You should expect something for being so retarded then too...

I never thought I would say this but Ruffy I agree with you on this one.

Hey Mak time to grow up bud and learn to respect people. Just cause they are dif. dosen't mean it's open season to attack and harass them. Do I agree with their Lifestyle? Nope. But this is no different than picking the fat kid out and picking on him cause he is different. Grow up and take what you got like a man. You pulled a azz hat move and then got punished for it. Don't come on here whining like your the victim. And ps in alot of places a rifle behind the seat of the truck is considered concealed and if you don't have your permit they can haul you to jail on it.

Disorderly conduct would be a great starter, some community service hours. Somethin to get the point across you can't be an azz hat and not expect some reprecussions.

Or disturbing the peace would fit too. Complete lack of judgement and very immature IMO.

So by saying you have no complaints, are you being sarcastic? When you were riding your snowmobile on the highway, you were breaking the law. It sounds to me that the "state boy" was pretty easy on you for just making you trailer your sled back to your house. I am sure you could have gotten fined a lot for your total disregard of the law. Then your second b!tch, your friend was on probation, How cool is that? Maybe your friend should have thought about the consequences before he was found guilty in a court of law and placed on probation. Your third b!tch, you again explain how you have a disregard of the law. It sound as if you got off easy on this one as well. So what exactly are you complaining about? That you need to learn what maturity is and responsibility for ones actions......that is what it sounds like to me.

not a Highway btw. a road that in itself is only two or so miles long. I was saying I guess I cant complain too much because I was let off easy the second time. In fact I guess both times.

And i was just saying the only reason cops were here was because my friend was on probation. If you've ever been to the Mass City area of Michigan, you'd know what I'm talking about, there arent enough people here to have cops around 24/7.

Put yourself in my shoes, you have no way to go to work because your only 15, cant drive yet. are you gonna spend the money on a trail sticker just so you can ride a road (NOT a highway) for 2 miles to your place of work?

Secondly, you've got a pal that blows up his snowmobile on one of the poles lines...just so happens around here they can get pretty nasty. Again, you dont ride on trails at all so you dont have a trail sticker, but your friend needs help, are you gonna let him sit out on the pole line until the snow thaws?

Some of you are way too serious. Lighten up a bit.I didn't do what he did, wouldn't do it, but still think it is funny. I guess having your kids out drinking, smoking up, or anything else that is actually ILLEGAL would be better in your opinion.

Umm no..........

That would not be better.

The kid would get woodshed treatment for any of those as well........

On the part about cops being too serious...

Before I had my drivers liscense I used to ride my snowmobile to work and back in the winter.... now where I worked was barely 2 miles from my house. I never rode trails or anything at that age so I never bothered to get a trail sticker, nor did I have registration on it, but it just so happened that one night while driving home from work... about half a mile from my house, I spotted this car coming at me on the road. So as it is, I was already as far right as I could go on the road but I figured just in case I may as well hop off the road, I mean, who feels like meeting fly guys from last summer on somebodies SUV's hood? So not only did I hop off the road but I stopped the machine as well. The Tahoe pulled up and sat next to me for a few seconds. This Tahoe that stopped just happened to be the State boys. However I did not know this until he flipped on his light. In all my scaredness I didnt think to just leave and hit up a trail (not that im the kind of person that would do this anyways but...) so he told me to shut off the machine and everything and made me get off it. So he sat there and told me what all was wrong with it. I explained to him I'm just riding back from work. Which he seemed to believe and I didnt really get anything out of it... BUT he wouldnt let me drive the rest of the half mile to my house...I mean, literally one half of a mile. So I ended up with a ride in a cop car back to my house where I was dropped off and told to go trailer it back. Needless to say I just got a ride back to my snowmobile and drove it back.

I guess I got off "easy" if you wanna call it that but honestly, I cant just finish driving it home for a half mile?

Oh and what was even worse... The reason the cops were around my town (they usually arent) is that they were checking up on my friends probation.... how cool is that?

In another story...there were about 6 of us on the trail one night with neither registration nor trail stickers but we had just finished hauling my friends blown up 10 ton ultra off of a pole line. The reason we were all out... anyhow we got stopped at a stop sign where we met 2 officers on snowmobiles... they explained to us that we had over 600 dollars in fines and then said to just go home.

so i guess i really have no complaints!

No complaints, great

Ok, so I think we can all admit that we did some inconsiderate, stupid stuff when we were young, and also that some cops are a bit overzealous. (In fairness, I might have done something like that back in high school, and I would have been high or drunk or both...)

What I really want to know is who the f*ck throws oranges at people?!

Seriously, oranges?

Not rocks or eggs or bricks or something, but freaking oranges?!?!

That's just plain weird.
