Those paddles look stiff. I could see some gains possibly in triming the vertical ribs to make it a better powder track.
Stiff they are! I will not be doing anything that could possibly jeopardize warranty.
I will get the 200 mile break in recommendation done and go from there.
They get alot softer during the break in period of the track. Then all hell starts and lugs start cracking, lugs flying and so on. Havent had a track that looks this bad ever after 1500miles.
Gonna try camso warranty and see if they cover this. But probably not...

What kind of riding do you do though? 1500 miles is a lot of miles for tree riding.
Ooooops typo! That should be 850 miles!! Must have mistyped something when i did a google conversion from km to miles
The track started to look really sad at about 500 miles.
More or less only tight tree riding. We dont have that much open areas to slaughter here in Sweden.
But dont get me wrong about the track. I really liked how well balanced it was. I think its a perfect allround track for most conditions. Maybe not the best powder track out there. But the durability is the biggest let down.
I really do hope i just got a bad batch or something and that Camso covers it.
Going to throw on a new 2.6 track with 8T 2.86 drivers tomorrow.
Will take some pictures of it when its out from the sled.
Are you ready for some carnage?
I've ran a X3 track before and sold it to a friend. That track has ran 3 times the miles as this track and at the same snow conditions as this one. And it looks brand new... So i dont know...
On the first two pictures you can see that some lugs are "intact". But the fact is that every single lugs have start to crack at the bottom.
You have scar marks right at the base of the lugs and even on top of the fiberglass rods between them. This track has been chewing a lot more than snow IMO.
Yes because obviously i've been riding 850 miles on grass. *DOH*
Friend of mine that has ridden with me the whole winter has done the same miles, same kind of terrain, same kind of riding. He have lost 1/4 of a lug on his Serie 5.1. Rest looks mint.
I've had to cut away rubber from the lugs because i was afraid the tears at the bottom start to expand further into the lugs. So instead i cut it down to try to stop it.
This i've done since the track had around 300 miles on it. Every friday i've leaned the sled to its side and inspect the track. And every single time i find new cracks at the lugs or damages.
Even after the 2 deepest day we had this winter i had 3-4 lugs that started to crack.
And as stated before. The track i had before has plenty of more miles on it and alot more abuse to it. And it looks mint. So i dunno...
