The paddles are very stiff compared to a X3. It is going to break easier.

I've ran a X3 track before and sold it to a friend. That track has ran 3 times the miles as this track and at the same snow conditions as this one. And it looks brand new... So i dont know...
On the first two pictures you can see that some lugs are "intact". But the fact is that every single lugs have start to crack at the bottom.
Its cracked in 5 different places at the glasfibre rods. One crack is so sever that it probably wouldnt hold for the next ride.

Looks like wolverine damage when left outside at night. I don't think there's going to be any warranty on these single ply tracks just to thin for what we a trying to accomplish. Kind of like a set of tires on a car have to give somthing to get something. I was looking hard at this track but decided on powerclaw for durability. Good luck with warranty though.

If i was Camso i wouldn't warranty your track. They are designed to move snow.... not rock and tree's. I have 800 miles on my track and it looks just as new.

Really not my field, but my only guess as to why yours look like this and you claim it's not been used as a saw(!) is high speed. These tracks supposedly load up with heat when ran at high speeds. Maybe the rubber compound got fried at some point..
Riding coastal snow mostly my stock 2.6 track is doing amazing.

To me, it looks like a few pin and wiggles on a log. Way to many marks/damage on the track(track not lugs, i circled one of the many marks from the pics)
That takes a very solid object to damage the track (look in the circle). what do u expect will happen to the lugs?

Yes i bought a track for 1200$ just to go out and pin & wiggle all day long on a log. *DOH* Obviously not!
And to continue on that. Yes contacts do happend from time to time. Especially if you ride every weekend even if the snow conditions aint the best. Happends to everyone of us. My former track is abused alot more then mine and it does look mint. Wierd...
I see myself as a pretty calm rider and doesnt abuse the sled like my friends does.
As i said before i've inspected the track before every single weekend, and found 1-3 new lugs that start to develop cracks at the base. One weekend i had only done a "touring" ride with just 95% transport and 5% fooling/play around. After that i had 2 lugs that cracked at the middle. No contact what so ever with anything then semi-hardpacked snow or some 10-15 inches of soft snow at the side.
Now i got a Serie 6 that is famous here in Sweden for throwing lugs everywhere. After 3 days of riding in a not perfect snow condition(medium hard to springsnow), and it still looks mint.
With that said. I know a guy who rides a 280 track and is ALOT harsher on the equipment and rides in areas which could kill any track. And that track holds up really good.

My buddy has one of these tracks on his proclimb and it was a solid upgrade to his 2.25 powerclaw, but the thing is a trencher. I seen some guys say they figured it would be good in coastal snow. Our mountains are not far from the coast so we get some pretty heavy snow and I feel this track is less than impressive. Last ride I literally seen him get stuck trying to get going on a downhill. I think for you poo guys the 2.6 track is far superior to the conquer. In soft snow that track from what I've seen just seems to keep the sled chugging along. Remember guys just because burandt said it's the greatest thing since sliced bread doesn't make it true.

Well that depends on trail condition obviously. But around 50-70km/s at max. Guess thats around 30-45mph? Trying to adjust it so its not opening the exhaust valves and not creating boost during transport. Need the fuel for when playing around
Im definitly not a trail rider so cant be arsed to drive like a maniac during transport. Need both the fuel and energy when climbing in the trees.
The damage on your track looks, to me, like thermal delam... hence the question.

300 miles on my 280 track. Mostly ride valemount and sicamous BC mountains. I find this track works great. No trenching issues. I would say lifts out of the snow better then the stock 2.6. track did get better after 150 miles.
Good to hear! Figured that would happen..
I only have 3 good rides so far. I am maybe close to the recommended 200 mile break in but do not think I am there. This compared to a series 7 3".
Ride one
Snow Conditions: Super fluff with no base
Track trenched more than my series 7 3" but always kept going.
Ride two
Snow Conditions: Good snow with good base
Track really propelled the sled, held lines very well. Faster down hill decent on packed snow but did just as good on good snow. Track still digs more but is better in some cases. It moves snow for sure.
Ride Three
Snow Conditions: Spring Coastal to decent snow with a base at higher elevation.
Track really shinned! Much more traction and never gave up! On hard pack it was worse, did not want to get any traction going uphill on a slick hill. Down hill on hard pack again was not as fun.
Conclusion thus far before it has broke in: The lugs are much stiffer, this allows it to move more snow if it can grab it. In more setup snow this gives you an advantage and in fluff this could cause you some issues if you do not ride aggressive. This track IMO is not a fix all track but definitely makes a sled super fun and shines where others do not.
I personally did not really feel the weight loose but I am sure on a NA Sled it would be more noticeable.

Looking for a replacement track for my 2016 155" 3" Axys. I read through this entire thread and from what I gather the 156 x 15 x 2.8 Conquer 280, 3.0 Pitch is a direct fit? Has anyone made this change?
Is the track swap a DYI job for a moderately mechanically competent person? I haven't been able to find any step-by-step how to's. Thanks.
