Colonoscopy, the adventure!

Yo niner, I have had this and it aint pretty. My first infection went just like yours. Then the second was about the same. The 3rd I was deep in the woods at elk camp and it was bad, It was and exteme emergency. I almost ruptured..

The meds stoped working after the 4th infection and it was time for surgery. I was a in the hospital for almost a week and came out with 13 inches taken out of my colon. And it takes a long time for your body to get back to normal, all those meds hammer your immune system and I got every bug that came my way for 2 years after.

I really feel for you man, pay very close attention to how you are feeling and stay close to the hospital at all times until they get this sorted out. Don't f - around with this, if it ruptures you might not make it, I think it's like 80% don't! The great thing is it's a cureable desiese and there arn't many of those.

The colonoscopy is nothing. Good luck!!

my old man had the same thing but his grew in to his bladder also and was cancerous. they took out about 10" of colon and has been 5 yrs cancer clean. hopfully you won't have that trouble.

I had my first one soon after that. No fun BUTT.........

DON'T let your colon burst. My grandmother has been through that...and then a diverticulitis this past fall. She spent 6 weeks in ICU and rehab. NOT good stuff.

Although she is twice your age I'm sure it's still nothing for you to sneeze at.

Niner didn't you notice the part about Vodka in Berry's story? They kept me awake for my Buttcam and let me follow the journey to the center of the earth. Then when I told them I had to shat afterwords they laughed. Fooled them with to small plebblets. Enjoy the ride but don't let your wife put the photo's next to the kid's drawings on the fridge.

All right boys I'm BAAACCCK, made it through the night OK tossed and turned probably just nerves!

The flood gates closed around 9 PM last night, note to self....next time get the Baby wipes with NO Alchohol in them Man know I really know how my kids felt with friggin BABY rash.

I am really torn between being ticked and/or LOL? because of the inauguration today I really feel like I will taking up the poop shoot twice Today! but I also feel like the rest of the world will at least be with me in thought!
