Clutch Advice

Well I finally got around to taking my clutches (primary and seconadary) into the shop to get serviced. Turns out they are in pretty rough shape. 750 bucks for parts and service if I go ahead and get the work done. This is friend pricing as well as I know the guys at the shop fairly well.

So what would you guys do? I am thinking about looking for something used but am worried that they new (used) stuff will have the same problems and worn out parts. Anyone know where I can get new or after market. For 750 dollars I would think I could get something else that would be better than stock.

Looks like I am not riding for a while anyway until I get this figured out.

Anyone have something that might work for me they want to part with?

That's alot of $$ unless they both needed just about every concievable wear part and new sheaves.

Ya they do need about everything and this Canadian pricing so you are looking at about 350 dollars in parts, 300 in labour and a whole lot of shipping fees and tax.

Welcome to Canada land of the heavily taxed.
