Climate change

Why would you allow 80 year-old technology in your 21st century car?

If you knew how these modern day cheap oil filters release pressure to keep from blowing off cold starting you might think different.
Once they bypass the oil it is no longer forced to go threw the filter.
At one time you could purchase disposable filters for the vehicles that had pop offs, so when the oil thinned from a cold start it would be forced back threw the element.

By the way, since it has a name insurance companies do not have to pay out claims.

Many ways of dissecting this , you choose.

Many named storm deductibles are set up as a percentage of a home’s value – usually from 1 to 10 percent – instead of a fixed dollar amount. That means a homeowner with a home insured for $161,100 would shell out $16,100 if their named storm deductible was 10 percent. If you’re not financially prepared, it can be a big sticker shock. Some insurance companies make the percentage deductible mandatory for homes in high-risk coastal areas.

A lot of insurance companies prorate roofs now on it's age, you have a storm rip off that 15 year old roof open up the pocket book.

It'll be more then that deductable.
