Hey guys, this weekend was my first time to the ears. When I got to the mc lot on Saturday I prompty asked the guy next to me if we were ok and he explained the way they were all parking, we were fine. Sunday I was the first to put those tracks through the lot on Pauls picture and the first to get stuck behind that bus. We got out pretty quickly and parked on the road. We informed many people that the lot was a mess and that people were stuck. Most people parked on the road that day so the lot was pretty much empty, no real reason to park that close. Two things on this point the first is talk to people and communicate all the people I met were great. Second, I am all for the boat ramp appraoch we do it all summer at the lake. IF YOU AREN'T SURE ASK!!!! SOMEONE WILL HELP. Just my .02 into the pot. Also, arcticat, contraversity??? What is the definition of this word.

I never said I was smart, besides I'm sure you know what I'm getting at. I agree asking is always a good idea but again if you ask your neighbor to your right and he says your ok and later a neighbor pulls up to your left and says look at this guy he's a idiot that doesn't know how to park then what. Liek I said you cant please everyone.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you are able to get out then are you technically blocked in?
With 2000 pounds sitting over my rear axle and a set of clawed chains i'm rarely "blocked" in. My low rent POS will move sideways if I will it to. Guy saw Dave's rig blockin mine and decided to join the crowd? I can see the progression. No big deal. Cept their was a half empty lot for him to use??? That part is peculiar...
Rabbit Ears is pretty well known and frequented by all comers. We get a lot of out-landers up here that don't know the parking "rules" (ambiguous as they are). I didn't have a particular problem with that azzhat...comes with the Rabbit Ears territory. Personally, I like to see alot of sledders riding our terrain; can only be good for our fight to keep areas open. And, they don't ride where I do, so come on board and pound mainstreet!
Dave's a great fella (but he can cut loose a rant!) Chris too, and theyr'e a hoot to hang out and ride with. Flock that guy from KS. Just by his park job, I believe he is suspect! He saw that note on his window and got the phawk out of their before I had a chance to say howdee.
I park on the perimeter, and that's as it should be. the snow is a little deeper next to the bank and wouldn't make a good "mainstreet". Works for us regulars
