So others may know, the removable flap is stored flat on the rear Linq brackets, since there are three sets on the 175" it takes essentially a full one third of the storage area. He has a tunnel bag on the other 2/3 of the tunnel. Can't store gas, bag, and flap together, gotta sacrifice one. We don't take gas any more, because at our age a full tank is good enoughWhat a pain in the butt carrying that stupid flap. Or leaving it at the trail head and hoping you don't forget about it on your return trip. My buddy on hisTurbo-R 175 has to deal with it every time it is not deep. I guess its better than overheating though.
Note: One guy I know attempted to mount a couple of linq brackets on his slim line mountain tunnel bag plastic top. That allows him an attachment point for his flap. Looks like hell and was a pain to get the bag open, but to each his own!
