haha do you guys think hes serious? Cuz it seems to me like hes joking with the wood comment, the chip and exhaust comment, and the "I think this is possible on an avalanche" comment.
I'm pretty sure this is a big joke

Actually he just wants to copy my setup, but I won't give him any Pics:D

Blu - the whole caster thing was my idea! However, upon talking with my cousin's brother who cleans the johns at an engineering firm, he told us that you should really double those up. Sort of a tandem-caster deal on each side. Also, we decided after looking at his cad drawings that it should only be mounted with hinges in the front of the bed so that when you go though dips in the road that the casters can move up and down. I think it's a great plan though and I'd like to rep them for you out here in the west when you get them done.

I'm looking for the same type of setup for my '79 Subaru Brat. It shouldn't be a problem though because my sleds are smaller (399 axial flow Puma and a 440 f/a el tigre - long tracked and w/nos). Send us pics of the prototype.

Make sure that the caster wheels are the greasable type. You would hate to have one go dry at high speeds. Don't for get the "L" angle brackets to reinforce the 4X4 down posts.

Make sure you use one of those "super-truss" extensions for the hitch. I don't think it would be safe otherwise. What type of lighting are you planning on using?

Oh, and instead of superclamps or something, I thought maybe using some really heavy-duty bunji's or something. You know, they are rust free, stay plyable in subzero temps and all....

Have you thought of just using "beats nails" glue instead of nails/screws so that you dont catch the skags on them?
Reinforce the trailer hitch thing with some plumbers tape to the corners of the bumper for stability. It is easy to adjust as it has many holes to use.
