The Oregon Snowmobile Forum - http://www.h2oregon.com - has a storm watch thread going.

********************************
1/30 report:

About 17" new at Bachelor in the last 24 hours.

The NOAA forecast calls for 7"-11" tonight, 9"-13" tomorrow, and "6-10" Thursday night. Their forecast can be a bit optimistic, but at even half those numbers we are looking at 11"-17" in the next 36 hours or so, with more likely after that.
********************************

It has been snowing like crazy in Central Oregon - even at low elevations - all week. One forum member shared photos of riding the powder at Tumalo Reservoir (just outside of Bend in a field) last weekend BEFORE the big storms really moved in.

Its really deep! Keep it pinned and don't stop. I ride an M7 153" and could have used a longer track and bigger motor. or a turbo!

where is this picture? Is that Hart Mtn in the backround?

where is this?

rmk, this is a shot from west of bull prarie on the rim looking down to the north west at summer lake with winter rim on the left and valley falls on the right. If I had panned a little to the right you would see abert rim. should be plenty deep up there now!

Drakes peak

A few years ago we rode through to Drakes peak, It was great snow then. There is a Warner Mountains spot in h2oregon these pictures should be posted there too!

3 feet of new powder on moon mt.!

blue sky and deep powder up by mt.bachelor today, here are a few shots of the powder and I had some great shots of multiple sleds stuck that did not turn out as my shutter froze and did not open all the way. sorry to those polaris guys that were all stuck in a row up by baby moon. watched an m-8 turbo tear up moon early in the morning, pretty amazing! Look for polaris guys under boondocking section of photos under bachelor as my son took high res. shots that won't download here.:p

oh darn

as one of the polaris guys, I'm disappointed the pictures didn't turn out!:D That was some sick snow. First time my 900 felt down on power this year. Great meeting you guys.
Nick
