I agree with Corey. Johnson saved the best game of his career for the last, against Alabama.

As for Max Hall....he throws too many pics when playing against good teams....i.e. Utah, TCU, and Oklahoma!

how do you explain max's performance against OU? also, he has a win against TCU under his belt.

Halls performance against OK was mediocre at best. He did look more composed on the last drive.

boise will run the tables too, their schedule is too weak not to, all they can hope for is the MTN west teams knock each other off. Im a firm believer that if a team can escape the MTN west this year with out losing they should be in a great position to get a national championship bid (assuming USC and Texas each lose a game).

The Utes just throttled the Y last year on turnovers. Unga ran for 116 yards and the Y had 214 yards rushing... moral: it takes more than just a good running game to beat the U

The Y will beat up on Florida State this week. They are pumped to be home finally and have some swagger to their step... but as stated they fade out at the end of the year... losing their last 2 games last year...

Johnson was a mediocure quartback fit into a perfect system that he knew well. And the U better get their acts together or they are gonna get thrashed this weekend...

thanks boss..... i agree with what many have said that byu didnt play well. but why hasnt anyone said anything about the fact that fsu came in and got it done? fsu has lost much of the intimidation factor that they had just a few years ago but for hell sakes they are still "FSU" and has and will always be a powerhouse. as you know i am an alum. but i also have lived in utah for 10 years so i really got no pleasure from the beating byu took and was not happy to see utah lost. im a utahin...... just one that loves the noles.

Early season rankings are just that, EARLY SEASON RANKINGS! BYU's defense was exposed by speed and they looked pathetic!!! Their #7 ranking was obviously a little over-rated.

FSU is young, fast, and talented! They look like they are back on track! They should have beaten Miami! BYU was not even on the same planet as they were yesterday! Bobby Bowden turning 80 and still coaching is impressive! My hat is off to Bobby and Uncle Joe Paterno!

As for Utah, they are a mediocre, rebuilding team! They have a lot of room for improvement! Looks like Andy Ludwig wasn't as bad as so many Utah fans may have thought...eh.

In order for BYU to take the next step defensively, they need some good cover guys that can play man defense. The only way to beat the spread is to play man and pressure the $hit out of the QB!!
