Sweet, prediction time!! I love the U too, but this is what I think:

Utah 10-2 (Hopefully only losing to BYU and TCU)
BYU 12-0 (But will blow the BCS bowl game)
TCU 11-1 (Will avenge loss by beating Boise State in Bowl game)

Although BYU better not look past Florida State. Florida State may not look good, but when you have good athletes, $hit can come together and they could put the hurt on BYU. If they can put pressure on Max Hall, you may as well call it a day!!

i don't think byu should look past anyone. this isn't the easy conference everyone thinks it is. while florida state's secondary does look horrible, i agree with your analysis of having the athletes to get things done.

but i think the byu defense is going to have another big day. max hall should be able to move the ball fairly easily.

the whole team is pumped to play at home and i especially think the defense is going to be showing off some hard, hard hitz.

Yep, if they can stay content throwing to the big TE's and backs out of the backfield and not get caught up throwing the deep ball, BYU will be successful.

anyways, college football is great(much better than the NFL imo) and a great way to pass the time before winter.

You got to be kidding me. College is all about controversy. Nobody knows who the real champion was last year. Any fan knows the Ute's were the true champion, but the computer says Florida was. You don't have that in the NFL. You play till you win the Super Bowl, and you have your champion. Until college does that, the NFL will always be better.

I love college football as much as the next guy, & enjoy watching it, because they play for the love of it, and not the money. I also pray that BYU gets there azz handed to them every week. Hopefully the Utes and my Irish can get it together for the rest of the season to make it interesting.

farm has been super busy. we're doing 300acres of alfalfa and another 80 acres of wheat. summer has been crazy. still riding the 03' though i haven't been on it for a year and a half. cold siezed it and haven't fixed it yet. will do it this fall. i got a little too into snowboarding and left my sled to accumulate dust. I'm probably still too into snowboarding.

didn't end up going on the mission. had my call and everything, but decided i didn't like telling people what to believe. i don't want others to press their views on me, so i didn't want to press my views on others. if that makes sense.

haven't heard from mike in forever. see his truck around syracuse though.

I will be at the game this saturday cheerin on the cougars! Good luck to the noles and I hope you all have a good experience at LES.

Should be an interesting game on saturday and LES should be LOUD! POnder is a great QB and could give BYUs defense dome fits. OUr defense looks to have improved since last year but I think this game will be a good indicator of where we are on that side of the ball. BYU struggles when teams spead them out and neither OU or Tulane did that. But that is exactly what FSU is going to do. So we will see if things have improved from last year. Lets just say Im cautiously optimistic.

On the Other hand Florida State is stacked with speed but their Defense has looked very bad thus far. They seem to not be very disciplined and get out of position easy. If they dont fix that BYUs offense will march down the field all day long. Florida states defensive scheme has always struggles against tight ends as they dont prioritize them. If FSU doesnt key in on Pitta and George they will have a very long day.

I dont get where people get the notion that BYU teams start out strong and fall off the map later in the season. that happened last year but if you look back more often than not its actually quite opposite. BYU usually starts slow and finished strong.

And Utah fans can continue to think that max hall is a crap QB. But he has matured a lot and you can see that in his first couple of games this year. Its funny though cause Brian Johnson was actually a very mediocre QB until his Senior year then he became a stud.

Here are my Prediction for the top 3 of the MWC

TCU: 12-0
BYU: 11-1 Loss to TCU
Utah: 9-3 Losses to BYU, TCU, and Oregon/UNLV (Lets hope Asiata can play in the OU game cause if not i dont see them winning)
