Ahhhh my eyes are swelling up for happiness for you! Little pizza delivery boy worked his way up to big time pizza manager and will be the owner some day! WOW, you are living the dream! ....hey soyf*cker I think we may have shared a fridge at one time....don't know how that happened?

Im livin the dream because i work nights, and snowboard/snowmobile 150 days a year. I am my own boss, no kissing the man's butt. And all the free pizza i can eat. Cant wait to own my own small buisness, thought that was the American dream.

Is this Dana? Come on dude a smart businessman would be aware of the impending legalization of the whacky tobacky and be studying the supply chain figuring out where there will be gaps and how to fill those gaps. If you truly think you're going to get rich opening a pizza joint you need to put down the pipe... Litterally!

I never said anything about "rich." I already consider my self rich, compared to the rest of the world. But my true wealth stems from my lifestyle, riding in the mountains every day. 150 days a year. Work hard, play hard. If i wanted to be rich, i wouldnt be snowboarding and snowmobiling everyday, there are more important things in life than money. Like nature, friends, and exercise.

What the ****? Some decent wisdom came from J-Fly!:confused:

Well if that's true I'm jealous. I'm not self employed but I still have to work my a$$ off to be able to pay the mortgage and bills and be able to sled 20 days a year. I make good money too. I don't know any self employed small business owners that could even think about taking off work 150 days a year. Do you own your house? How do afford everything like the start up and daily operational costs of your business along with a mortgage and still be able to buy sleds and gas and ride 150 days a year? Teach me how to live like that lol

I'm not, jealous that is.

wait until pizza boy gets a wife, kids and a mortgage.

I have all those things, and I wouldn't trade my family for a million perfect days on the mountain. I'm blessed to be able to go riding a couple times a month and then come home and hug my kids and molest the wife :D

I dont take 150 days off work. I ride 4 or 5 days a week, and still work 50 hour weeks. I usually dont start work untill 4 or 5pm, and work till 1am. So that gives me all day to ride. I live in the mountains, so I only drive 15 minutes to ride. In the winter when sales are good, and i have a good crew, I can take a few extra days off, or use some vacation days. I love living in the mountains. No reason to go on vacation, or take tons of days off. I can snowmobile all day , and then go make pizzas all night. Thats why i like making pizza. Once i buy the store and pay off the loan, i will only work part time. Its hard work, but the days off are worth it, and i work with a lot of fun people.

I have a girlfriend, and she has an 8 year old daughter, and we ski together all the time. Our rent is probably as much or more than most peoples mortgage. Summit County sucks like that. I know im not ready to have more kids. I need to buy my business first, and then buy a house, and then have a kid or two if i can afford it! But right now my goal is to ride 100 days a year, and go to Alaska this spring or next. Once i accomplish my snowboarding and proffessional goals i will be more ready for a family.

Right on sounds like it works for you. If I ever win the lottery I'm going to buy an island in the south pacific with some native women, grow a huge Thai stick garden, and drink Mai Tai's for the rest of my life. Until then... lol

You better stop this whole acting normal thing! I didn't sense any sarcasm in this post at all! If you don't stop, I'm going to put you on my BFF list!

I started out as a ski bum in 1976. Still consider myself one. Rich is not a monetary thing, its where you are at with your life and your happiness that counts.

Allot of people in the Mtns already know this. You can still play hard and make money. Get rich owning a pizza joint, maybe not, but who cares as long as your having fun. Friends, family and lifestyle have always been my thing. Money will come with working hard.

If your happy and you know it clap your hands......
Then stomp your feet or something like that.
