Dang, at 21 I had a $300.00 beater with a heater. And I was proud of it! Twenty years in the military and then starting over with a new career in my 40's just doesn't allow a $60K truck. No regrets though.

It is by no means a $60,000 truck. And it didn't happen over night. The engine has been out for 6 months. I have probubly close to $30,000 into it and it is probubly worth around $35,000. I need to sell it. WAY to expensive.

pitched the 4 dr dually sideways and rollin smoke off the tires in front of the sherrif a while back, chewed my arse then went and told my cousin (another deputy) about it while laughin. Its nice when the cops have all done the same thing we do, just don't do it where you could hurt someone and most will just chew you out.

EFI live DSP-5. I was using a member on here for tuning. But i haven't been able to get ahold of him so when this bad boy is all put together i will take it to rob coddens in idaho and have him dyno tune it. The bad thing is that now i need a built trans and air mods....

Have you broke any trans/transfer case adaptor housings?
I build those units (1000's & 2,000's) all the time.

in my 03 the transfercase had a crack. i do have an ATS transfercase mount for my new truck. Hopefully the trans will hold together through the winter. Ging to give RMSHA a shot this year. I was going to do it last year... but this happened lol. One thing is for sure, racing ain't cheep.

That was funny, I never even bothered to look at the date of the posts. When I saw your age (21). I was thinking "Why in the hell is a 21 year old doing burnouts in the damn high school parking lot?" Then I started thinking about Wooterson, who was played by Mathew McConaughey in the movie Dazed and Confused. "That's the one thing I like about high school chicks, I get older, they stay the same age".
Get a hold of Dmitri millard in Idaho Falls, he knows what he is doing. I had him remap mine without any mods and the trans wont hold in high gear. Then I found out someone had rebuilt the motor once and did it wrong, took all of 3 days to trash the crank, so now I will be taking him the engine and trans to build to 800hp minimum.
