burn out at a high school... Am i in trouble?

Is there a time limit on these sort of things? Because i got pulled over yesterday for a brake light out and i got a ticket for that but didn't mention anything about it.

I also kinda broke a u-joint in my truck so i have been driving my other one around. We already have a lawyer that is suing the Park Service for an unpaid life insurance policy so i already have one if i need one.

I have been told that they want me to pay for a new parking lot because they just put that one in 2 months ago and i allegedly destroyed it..... Its been over a week and I have yet to be contacted about it so idk. BTW, I didn’t start this thread for sympathy or what ever, I was just wondering what all laws I allegedly broke?

Generally speaking....for traffic violations, if they don't catch you in the act, you're usually home free. They can give you a warning, but if the cops don't actually see you doing it, it's pretty damn hard for them to give you a ticket that will stick.

Tell the school it wasn't you, the janitor could have written down your plate # anytime (if he even has it), and anything outside of that they can go pound salt.

Oh and for next time....do it when no one's around and avoid this whole situation

Don't worry about them man, sometimes people have difficulty expressing themselves, so all they can muster is derogatory comments and personal attacks. It is not there fault... they can't help it.

I wouldn't worry about it. Deny it. they won't be able to prove anthing. Even if there is tire in your wheel wells, that just means you did a burn out, not a burn out at school.

the ticket would be a careless driving and "show of poweR" of some sort. in most states it is illegal to spin your tires.

Think about where you do that **** next time.

I agree with RUBBERDOWN. I have had my fair share of run ins with "JOHNNYLAW" and majority of the time if your honest with them they are way cooler than not. It is such a small insignificant crime that I would be surprised if they screwed ya. Explain that you are young and make irrational, stupid decisions mostly trying to show off for the ladies and that you learned your lesson and are sorry. Most likely they will let you off with a warning. BTW, good job on the smokeout. Just don't do somewhere as obvious next time.

how exactly did you manage to destroy property by doing a burnout? If I was the law, I would tell you to get a bucket and soap and clean up your mess.

If you damaged fresh pavement, then I guess you should pay for it. I really don't see how this is possible so I would definatley demand proof of damage.

It was a burnout for Godsake. If that's the biggest law he breaks , in high school , he's doing pretty good. I am sure you can attest to bigger problems in school i.e., drugs, alcohol, illegal weapons, etc............

Even though Gardiner is a very small town ,I am sure the cops have better/bigger fish to fry.

I have absolutley no problem with what you did but, unfortunatley, I don't write the local laws. You have to answer to them.

its also illegal to receive head whilst driving.

The goal for the truck is to run 12.99 second quarters and get over 20 mpg fuel economy. And also to NEVER EVER break another piston!
