You mean like this??

The bumper designs that are really interesting to me are the ones that have a 1 piece tube that goes down to the bulkhead in the center.

Tell me what you think of this one?? weights in at 12OZ more than stock so 1LB 12 oz.
Has extra mount under hood so as not to break the mounting tabs.
This is the first pre production one and looking for input is there something else needed or is this enough?
WE looked at doing 2 more down but not sure it needed it.

I'd really like to see those other two down tubes... like in this pic..

Tie in the bottom pate at two fwd locations... like those torx button heads at the tie rod gaitor housing... distributing the load a bit more WHEN I take a hard hit to lower tube.

I'd also like to see it wrap around the the sides ... like the FireNIce did and the WRP... And your cat bumper.

I really like the unique look of the fwd tube of your cat bumpers... not the same as the variants of the SPG / TCP that started this thing on the Dragons a while back.

VERY NICE WORK So far!!

We are distributing the Edge Works bumper now. Ill post installed pics soon as well as some close ups.

The construction is amazing, mil-spec finish on the tube so your hands aren't as prone to slipping off, stout enough to use a snobungie on.

Check of www.feethookers.com for info shortly.

New Bumper

So we looked at and stewed for about a week and we think that for price weight and strength we are going stick with this design. We made a few refinements and I am happy with it I will have price soon. This pre production one but will get some ready by first of he year.

So I have a Skinz bumper.....well all the pieces of what was a Skinz bumper anyway, AND the two mounting tabs that used to be part of the overstructure. Had a little run in with a tree today:face-icon-small-sad Question is do I weld the tabs on to the overstructure OR is there anyone that makes a bumper that bolts to the upper overstructure mounts, like the B&M bumper??? I'm not a big fan of those stupid tabs, they are definitely a weak point. And yes I understand the point of something cheap failing, but I would rather replace a bumper than the overstucture AND bumper.

I really like it but I kinda wish they would've made it like the cat bumpers they build. Maybe similar to this bumper?

No handles to lift and pull on the front bumper. Also a small window of deflection. These are things I look at in an aftermarket bumper.

Price for Pro Bumpers

Looks like we have a final price at 225 coated and 200 Raw. If you like the wider like the first picture we can do that to but production will be cut down.
Orders to start shipping second week of Jan.

Vanamburg front and rear!

I saw a sled take on a 100 year old fir tree last year in Revelstoke. Though the bumper was ruined, the sled made it out without a scratch...! I was amazed!

I would like to add; If you ruin your stock bumper, your likely going to ruin other parts as well! The front bumper support goes through the pipe, the sled gets 6 inches shorter and 6 inches wider. Plastic buckles and burns on the pipe ect..... Unfortunately, I have experienced this first hand.

Though the Vanamburg bumper was ruined, none of the above took place. It had just enough rigidity to deflect the sled off the point of the nose. When I saw the snow fall out of the top of that old fir tree, I also heard helicopter blades! I was amazed we road it out!

Amen to that, if the harpoon ends aren't long enough to grab, I'm not buying!

Have FUN!

Just ordered JT front and rear...raw...so can have them powder coated!:face-icon-small-win

So I just finally got these in and was all psyched till my buddy said to cut the tabs off b/c if your A-Arm hits a sapling and pushes it forward your tabs can catch them and it acts like an Arm Bar on the sapling which stops the sled dead in its tracks....and can smoke your belt....now I am torn on whether to cut my brand new bumper b/f Power Coating or what?
